(SNEHA'S POV)

I have realized, that people tend to keep a lot of secretes, which they end up revealing anyway. I'm curious as to why they keep it a secret in the first place. Take for example our current situation, the Upper men (or so I believe they are called) kept the existence of the Laxens concealed, but all it did was raise more curiosity. Although I doubt any one has as much information as Greg Süthel. He appears to be a resourceful guy.

"Madhulika? " I glanced over at my paling bestfriend. I think she was shivering too. Shivering? In this summer heat?

"Yeah?" She said after a lot of nudging.

"What were you thinking about?" She opened her mouth to speak but then stopped short. She shook her head at me and focused her attention back on Greg.

"Now listen, we need all the information we can get." Greg was briefing.

"I understand somewhat how things are connected to us, I don't however understand why you are getting involved in this."

"I made it my business a long time ago." His words discouraged any further remark anyone had.

"I suggest you call your friends here."

"Anushka and Nicolas aren't picking up. They've switched off their phones." Jeremy shook his head.

"I texted Seb, he'll be here." Chelsea said.

"Oh, won't he?" Greg voice held pure hatred. Anannya opened her mouth, probably in Sebastian's defense, but slammed it shut just as quick. I believe it was clear by now that Greg wasn't going to be persuaded.

"I'll go check on Anushka and Nicolas. I know their training place." Anannya said as she began sprinting away.

"Hey! Wait! Don't go alone."Greg shouted. Anannya stopped and turned. "You have a lot of enemies after all." There was a smile concealed in his blue eyes. Damn it! He knew something! Somethig about Anannya......Oh My God he knew! He knew that it was me who asked Jeremy to topple the tree! Uugghh.

"I know." She said in a small voice.

"But anyway, it's not safe for you to go out alone, not at this hour." This time he was genuinely concerned. I wasn't sure if he was a di*k or just a regular folk.

"Come on, I'll go too." Nate was already jogging up to Anannya. A feeling of dread washed over me. Even Nate knew! After their departure, we sat in awakard silence. Not soon after Blake joined us. He had about himself an all knowing air. It pissed me off.

"If you've got something to say, then how about saying it?" I asked.

"There's time for everything. If I reveal something now, it'll take the fun out of it."

"You know-"

"It's impossible for anyone to get a Dragon to talk." Jeremy cut me off.

"But he knows-"

"It's ts pointless, Sneha, let it go.

(ANANNYA'S POV)

I peg myself for a fast runner, but my speed is nothing compared to a werewolf. Nate jogged at the speed of a slow car, while I staggered behind, panting like a maniac. That asshole didn't even care to wait for me.

"Come on shortie, work thoese tiny legs of yours."

"Shut up." I growled.

"Race you to the top?" He smirked.

"Shut up" I barked once again.

Nate stopped abruptly and I slammed hard into his back.
"Ouch!"
