The Huntress' Recollection

(ANANNYA'S POV)

Sebastian, that sick bastered! Why didn't Madhulika understand? I had tried to talk to her but things didn't go well. Everytime we spoke we faught without getting our points across. Why did she not see how twisted he really was?

I remember it clearly. I was running, away from Beyn, I'd lost him in the crowd. I was sure that that I saw safe. All I had to do was tell Ms.Hemsly. I was gravely mistaken. As I crossed the path to the main office, I heard footsteps, but before I could trun, I was hit. The blow was to my head and after that I passed out.

I came around after a while. I sat up, with my back against the wall. I was behind the Adminstrative Building. I heard hushed voices in the distance.

"What is wrong with you?" The voice was very familiar.

"Let me have her too. I'm begging you. The hunger is growing." This voice was familiar too.

"No! You've already screwed up by openly attacking Will."

"He deserved to die! Let me eat him!" He voice was cold, hungery, sinister. It sent shivers down my back and made me freeze. There was so much hunger in his voice, like a bloodthirsty hyena.

"Beyn! Shut up will you? Haven't you messed up enough already."

"If-if not Will or that girl then why not the pretty Indian Mindworker? I'll become invencible after consuming her. My hunger will be satisfied too."

"No! You will not touch her!" It was Sebastian voice! I realised. It had a dangerous vibe to it.

"Oh of course you want to keep her to youswlf don't you? You're all friendly with her and all. You want to devour her. Have all the power! KEEP EVERYTHING FOR YOURSELF. You don't want to share do you?"

"Shut up!" Sebastian's voice rang out. But before he could say anything else, someone tapped on my shoulder, I jumped back.

"Oh dear, why are you in such a condition?" Ms.Hemsly asked. She turned and gave Sebastian and Beyn a questioning look. But there wasn't any need for it, the dried blood on Beyn's lips spoke for itself.

"The-there is a boy. In the woods, h-he badly injured! Please hurry!" I spoke urgently.

"Ms. Chitranshi go inside. Escort her." She comanded the gurad behind her.

"Mr. Darkwood and Mr.Drillthut meet me in my office. Rest follow me."

Dread filled Beyn's features as he realised wht was going to happen. So, he lashed out. Kicking one of he guards as a distraction he grabbed my neck. On an impulse, I jabbed his stomach with my elbow. It didn't do much damage, but he losened his girp. I dashed away, and as I did so, Beyn turned to ice. Yes, he literally turned to ice.

"Mr. Darkwood and Ms. Chitranshi go to my office." She comanded as she headed towards the woods.

Sebastian and I sat quietly at the office. No one said a word. And I'd perfer it that way. Honestly I wanted to beat this guy to a bloody pulp. How could he? He wanted to kill Madz! A sick twisted, bastared he was.

I hadn't realise admist all the chaos, my forehead was bleeding, and I had cuts ans bruises all over my body. The ones from last time had just healed, and now I had new ones.

"Ms. Chitranshi please go to the infimary. You need to attend to thouse wounds," Ms.Hemsly ordered as she entered the room.

"Mr. Suthël has been admitted too." She must've been refering to the boy in the wood! "Escort her." The same guard came to ecsort me.

In the infirmary, Will was lying on one of the beds, while a healer tended to him. Another came and took care of my injuried. If only things had been that simple for Will. The poor guy had been so badly hurt, it was painful to watch. Deep cuts marked his body.

I don't know how long I sat here absentmindedly looking at nothing in particular when Ms.Hemsly came. By this time Will had regained conscienceness.

"How are you two?" There was a moment's pause, then I said

"Fine now. Thank you."

"And I see Mr.Suthël is in a better conditon." Will nodded. He seemed to be awakened from his slumber.

"Would you two mind telling me what happened?" There was a long slience again.

"It happened this morning, around four or five o' clock, when he came." Will had a dazed expression.

"And I persume 'he' here refers to Mr. Drillthut?" Will nodded.

"My roomate and I were asleep, when we heard the noise. He'd broken in through the window. It happened so suddenly, I can't describe it well enough. He compelled Henry and then he knocked me out. When I woke up again, I was tied up. And then..." An expression of pure horror filled Will's features. His eyes widened, amd his body shook a little.

"Yes?" Ms.Hemsly asked gently.

"He beat me a lot. He hit with a lot of things,bats, fists. He drunk for me too. Until morning came. Someone knocked on his door and he panicked so he ran. He dragged me too. Into the woods. There, he sliced way. It hurt. It hurt a lot. Then he began...he began..... to suck.. amd thats when she came in." He looked at me with such gratitude, I was stunned.

"I see. Seeing the safety and reputation of our school, you two must not discuss this with anyone. Is that clear? And don't worry, you two are safe now. I will personally make sure nothing like this happen ever again." Although she had on a guarded expression there was something maternal in her gaze.

"Also, I'm afarid I must compell you two." She did as she said. Closing her eyes, she mumered a spell.

"Thank you." Will said when Ms.Hemsly left. He regarded me as an Angel of some sort.

"Don't thank me, I hardly did anything. I was so weak." I chocked. It was true. Had I been stronger, Will would have been spared some of these injuries.

"No, you saved me." But Will wasn't listening to what I was saying.

"Lets leave this. How are you feeling? Are you able to move?" I asked.

"No, not competely." Will shook his head.

"I see." Will had on a dazed expression again.

"What if he comes looking for us? I'm a hundred per cent sure he will. He's going to kill us this time!"

"I don't know. We can't be alone. Not until this matter is dealt with."

Thats when Madhulika came in. Well you know the rest.

But that omnious rascal came in and pretened he knew nothing, he stood my Madhulika like he was some saviour. But he is nothing but a eerie killer! He made me sick. I wanted to expose then and there, but I don't think it was the time or place.

But how can I save Madhulika, when she won't even listen to me?
