MADHULIKA'S POV

I ran a brush through my wild hair...for the sixth time. Please be civilized, I begged them. Today was my first date with Sebastian, and although I wasn't the type to dress up like a doll, I had put on a little bit of make up. I had also bothered to pick out something girly. Looking down at my outfit, I inspected it for any flaws. I had on a denim dress, paired with a brownish orange belt and a pair of black flats.

*buzz* My phone rang. Without wasting time I picked it up, thinking it was probably Sebastian.

"Hey Madz." Nope, it was Anushka.

"Hi. Anushka."

"Are you free right now? All of us are going to the mall. Want to come with?"

"Umm. No I can't." Now I know, you will be asking why my friends had no idea that I was going on a date. Well that's becuase, Sebastian and I wanted to keep it a secret, until we finished the date at least. Our friends can be a little...nosy.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Becuase...I've got French homework."

"Really Madz? You can do that later."

"I also have a maths quiz!" I added in quickly.

"Oh, okay." I could hear skepticism in her voice.

"It's a pain."

"Yeah it is. Too bad you have to miss out."

"Yeah, too bad. Bye."

"Bye," Well that was close. I had only a moment's rest before a knock on the door had me springing on my feet. I opened it cautiously, fearing it was one of my friends.

"Madhulika? Why do you look so alarmed?" Sebastian asked as I opened the door.

"Oh it's you!"

"Who else would it be?" He squared his shoulders and his eyes became predatory like a jungle cat. It was kind of hot!

"No I was thinking it was one of our friends. This." I said pointing at myself. "Would be hard to explain. Espically after I lied and told them I had a math quiz coming up."

Sebastian's guard dropped and his lips parted in a smile. "They wouldn't let us live it down. But enough about them, shall we?" He extend his hand. I started at it, dumbfounded, as if I hadn't seen his hand before.

"You're supposed to take it." He suppressed a smile.

"Um. I know." Stupid, stupid, stupid!

I took his hand and warmth spread through my entire body. Funny, becuase his body was completely cold. Side effects of being a Vampire I suppose.

He led me outside to the parking lot, where I jolted to a holt. "We aren't taking Nicolas' car are we?" I asked.

Laughing Sebastian answered, "I don't think so. Blake let me borrow his." He pointed towards SUV parked infront of us. "I know, it isn't the perfect car for a date, but since I don't have a car yet, we'll have to make do."

"I don't mind." I shook my head.

Settling into the car, I asked. "So Mr.Darkwood, where are we going?"

"Well." I could see he was nervous. Sebastian was nervous! "I didn't know where you'd like to go but I didn't want to ask because I wanted it to be a surprise, um... what do you think about Amusement Parks?" I looked at me, eyes expectant. it was damn adorable!

"Amusement Parks? I absolutely love going to anusement parks!"

"Awesome." He smiled triumphantly. And I chuckled.
