6 months. Time was going fast in Hawkins. So many things have happened, not to mention Dustin's friend Will. Y/N was just as confused as the rest of the town. But, here they were. Back to their normal life.

She had grown close with some classmates. Her past wasn't a hot topic for students anymore, and she has indeed found peace at Hawkins.

Her and Eddie? Still the best of friends.

"No, you've got it all wrong." She started. "X is equal to 1."

"How'd you get 1?"

"Substitute the all of the x in the formula with the values!" Y/N sighed as she leaned back. "Dear Lord, how on Earth are you graduating, Munson?"

"Hey, don't blame me. Math is hard." Eddie defended himself as he drank another bottle of beer.

They were at Eddie's place, and she was trying to help him for the upcoming test. He was so clueless.

"Sorry."

She looked at him. She saw his eyes looked all sad, and his face showed disappointment. "For what?"

"You know...for not taking all this seriously." He said.

She felt guilty. Yes, it was indeed hard to help Eddie. But he was a friend struggling, and he was trying his best.

"Oh, Eddie, sweetie. You don't have to say sorry." She said as she sat close to him and hugged him. "You're doing the best you can, and I'm proud of you."

"You're only trying to help, it's alright to get upset." He said as he held her arm that was wrapped around his neck. "You're the one who studies the most. And I honestly never study."

They sat there for a few minutes, and she realized that they were in a lovey position. One that she did not expect that they were comfortable with.

She still hasn't told Eddie about her secret crush on him.

"I know." Eddie said as he turned to look at her. Their faces were so close, and lips inches away.

She could feel her face burn, and she was hoping he wouldn't notice a thing.

"How about we go for a walk." He suggested.

"Yeah, I could use a break." She said as she breaks the hug and stands up from the couch. She was too nervous to stay on that position any longer.

Eddie stood up and walked out of the trailer. Y/N followed him out, closing the door behind her. The night was cold, and she was lucky to wear a sweater.

"I don't think I'd know what I'd do without you." Eddie started the conversation.

She looked at him with a confused look. "What do you mean?"

He looked at her and smiled. "You're my bestfriend, Y/N. I'm surprised you even lasted 6 months with my company."

"Well, you were the only one who treated me with kindness in the first few weeks." She said.

"Yeah. And you were the only one who wasn't scared of me. Who doesn't see me as different." He said. He went close to her and placed his hand around her.

She silently enjoyed the moment. Him and her. She just didn't have the courage to say it to him.

"How's the club?" She asked.

"The D&D club? Yeah, it's great. I'm thinking of changing it's name, actually. It doesn't sound cool." He said.

"What is the name?"
