"captain we need backup. Our defense can't hold on much longer" 

"..." the leader looks at his monitor, the giant black snake was still attacking his defense. Clenching his fist and gritting his teeth the leader orders everyone to fall back immediately.

"but what about our plan?" "it'll fail anyways. Leave the injured ones to fend themselves and get back to base as soon as possible!" and with that, everyone made their way out towards the teleportation.

Step step step

"looks like the injured ones were left behind... What a tragic end indeed" from behind the black snake, a silhouette reveals himself. 'what a stupid plan, trying to infiltrate my castle but it ends up backfiring huh?' a smirk appears on his face and he chuckles.

A hand desperately grasp onto his leggings, gaining attention from him "h-help me..." a soldier with blood pouring down his head onto his face. "... I'm short on helpers so maybe I'll take a few and make them my own" using his magic he hoist up the injured soldier up onto the back of the snake. 'there's so many dead bodies... I could give them to my dear alchemist for some experiments' 

"my team...mates" the injured soldier manages to speak and points out to some places before falling unconscious. "more work I guess... Come on python" (y/n) hums a certain music and picks up bodies one by one and places them onto the black snakes back.

"Mr Soldier wake up" 

"there you are. Geez I thought you were almost dead" (y/n) closes his spell book and dismisses his undead servants, "...Where..." "your in my castle, you should be grateful I didn't kill you in one go and fed you to my pets" he stands up and opens the curtains. 

'too bright...' the soldier uses his hands to block the sunlight shining into eyes. "oh right, by the way... About your teammates, I've asked my alchemist to heal your teammates as well-" 

"are they okay?" the injured soldier rips off the blanket and tries to get out of bed but his head and stomach said no and pain rushed through his body. "sit back down sugawara koushi. It's no use trying to get out of bed when your in this critical condition" 

"how... Did you know my name-ow..." "I have my ways. Also I wanted to ask, what's the last thing you remembered before falling unconscious" 

"I told.. you about my teammates and wanted you to save them" 

"good. At least you didn't get amnesia. I'm (y/n) Blackheart by the way" (y/n) introduces himself and does a bow. "the Blackheart...! You mean the Blackheart?? As in your the one who made the sky turn black and abducted people in secluded places?" 

"mhm! Also I don't abduct them, they choose to come to me to end their suffering" (y/n) hears someone knocking on his door and orders them to come in, the door opens and a servant dressed in a healers outfit comes and walks over to sugawara.

"she's... She's the healer from-" "yes yes, she was from Caynine team 3 healer, she couldn't take it anymore after seeing dead bodies so she wanted to end her life and I made her my servant" 

"SUGA! Are you hurt??" the door burst open, "ah is this one of your teammates? Quite rude with manners if I say so myself-" "what did you do with sugawara you villain" (y/n) gets grabbed by the neck and lifts up into the air. "daichi stop it he didn't do anything to me" sugawara defends (y/n).

"tell me you villain.. What's your purpose of helping us-" "on your knees daichi sawamura" (y/n) orders, daichi feel onto the floor, his hand releases (y/n)'s neck in the process, "ack... Cough cough... you really have bad manners for a leader of the Madain department... Fucking hell.." (y/n) stands up and looks at daichi furiously. 

"your a villain so I don't trust you one bit-" "I never intend to help you too... If it weren't for your friend over here I would've let you be an experiment test subject for my alchemist" the undead healer uses her magic and heals his neck, "on your feet" daichi's body stood up. Sugawara looks at him with a horrified look, his head and torso were covered in bandage. He still had his pants on of course.

"if you'll excuse me I have some business elsewhere then having to deal you two idiots" (y/n) taps his monocle side and it projects a security camera video, daichi was released from (y/n)'s command and could finally move around again.

"... Shit" "what were you exactly thinking daichi? Don't you think your just as silly as a slime going into a higher dungeon? Your just asking for an early death if you mess with him" sugawara scolds him. "but you weren't in the infirmary room so I thought you were held hostage-" 

"daichi I know your caring towards other but you've got to know that we're just rank B and A soldiers and he's a national villain which makes him a very powerful enemy not to mention he's a necromancer!" 

"..." "haa if only you didn't attack him we would have been on his good side" 

"look, I'm sorry but we have to get out of here and tell the leader" "forget the leader, he ordered everyone to fall back and left the injured soldiers to DIE. If it weren't for (y/n) we would have been snacks to his pets" 

"what kind of nonsense are you spouting sugawara. I'm sure the others will come and find us" 

"are you even listening to me sawamura? They're. Not. Coming. For. Us"

"NO BUTS SAWAMURA. You know very well that their trying to look good in the eyes of the public. Just like how your parents died while trying to save you from the monster and they left them to die just like that" 

"what should we do about the soldiers?" "if their fully healed then let them decide, I could care less letting them be in here especially daichi.." (y/n) zooms in onto the leader, he still dared to come back after having left the soldiers for dead with a new batch risking their lives. "send the lich and dark magicians to deal with them. Make sure to tear the leader from limb to limb if you can" "yes sir" the assistant leaves. 

"I don't want to see my teammates die. Please do something..." 

"I hate my life. Everyone is always targeting me and bullying me.. Please let me go" 

"just die already. Your a curse to this family"

A window broke, glass shards pierced through his skin with blood slowly spilling out onto the floor and window sill. So many deaths yet so little attention was brought to them. People accusing one another, gossiping away and forgetting about them. 

Do lives really not matter to them? What would they think if they were in the persons shoes? Would they care? Or would they not? 

Sometimes it's even the grim reaper feels empathy towards them, "tch... We'll see how many lives will survive when the time comes" he wipes off his tears and heads straight towards his labatory room. A circular tube filled with red transparent liquid along with a body that was stitched up with different parts of animals and monster. 

"just you wait my best friend... I'll make sure to destroy everything and everyone so that no one will bother us again" (y/n) puts a hand onto the tube and looks at it with relief and leaves sealing the door.
