"please can I just invite my friends over for today? I promise I won't cause any trouble."
"I'm sorry dear but we can't risk another robbery because of them." his parents said over the phone, "... Fine, at least can I invite him over?"
"... Sure, but make sure you have dinner okay?" "got it mom, tell dad I said goodbye." (y/n) hangs up the phone and turns his head to check the dining table, "... just some leftover rice and steamed salmon with mushrooms." (y/n) picks up his chopstick and cuts a piece of salmon and eats it.

Not long after, the door bell rings. (y/n) checks the peep hole and quickly unlocks the door "Eita!" he hugs semi and smiles "good evening to you too (n/n), how are you?"
"awful! I tried to invite my friends but my parents won't allow me to." (y/n) pulls away and walks in to let semi enter.
"here's the chips and soda you wanted, I bought a packet of popcorn and a few more chocolate and matcha mochi. What game do you have in mind?" "uh, I got this game called one piece : pirate warriors 4." he picks out the newest game his family had gotten him during their trip to England.
"you got a one piece game? That's new," "I told my parents that I had just wanted to watch a one piece movie in the theater room and they sent me this the next day... I'm just trying this out for fun."
"it's fun, I played it with my friends but only the first part but the rest I got too tired and slept through the whole thing."
"great! Then we'll be able to play this blindly." (y/n) inserts the disk into his nintendo switch and starts up the game. "hey wait, I wanna see ." semi scoots over with a bowl full of chips and lays his head down.
The main menu starts up and the game begins. (at this point I have no idea how the game works since I'm too broke for a nintendo switch ;~;)
(just pretend your at the middle and got stuck on a puzzle or sum shit..)
"uh... How do I?" (y/n) moves the character around with confusion and hands it to semi, "maybe we do this?" "eh?! No your going to get Zoro killed-" before (y/n) could even tell semi, the game over screen shows and they had to restart once more...
"oh, sorry (n/n)." "its fine, at least I have the checkpoint." (y/n) press the spawn to last checkpoint button and checks his phone "it's almost close to 2 in the morning, aren't you going to head back home?"
"my parents wouldn't mind, I'm sure they'll understand if they knew I was here with you."
"your parents allow you to?" "yeah, you did say that your parents aren't going to be home till next week right? Why not treat this as a sleepover?"
"I mean, if you want to." (y/n) turns off his nintendo and stands up heads to his bedroom, "where are you going?" "to change? I need more comfortable clothes too you know." (y/n) shuts his door. Semi laughs and turns on his phone to see numerous missed calls from his parents and messages from his friends.
Initially, semi was thinking of hanging out with his friends but got a message from his cute boyfriend saying that he wasn't allowed to bring his friends over and changed his mind. Does he regret not hanging out with his friends? Probably but will he do it again? Definitely, anything for his sweetheart.
