"hey semi semi." (y/n) looms over his half naked lover, his eyes staring at his gorgeous face descending down to his chest and finally his abs.

"semi." he calls out once more.

"..." no response.

"semi semi." 

"..."

"hey! Wake up." (y/n) shakes his shoulders as hard as he can but to no avail.

"..." 

"semi~" 

"... What?" "I have to do my daily work, come on get your tail off me." (y/n) points to his leg where his silver scaled dragon tail wrapped around in a tight hold.

"oh... Can't you stay a bit longer?" 

"no. You know what happens if I don't finish my daily quota." (y/n) tugs on his tail and manages to pry it off and quickly scrambles to change into a fresh new look.

"your always working overnight, aren't you working a bit too hard?" 

"just because you have all the time in the world doesn't mean I have too you know? There's a lot of cleaning to be done in the palace, I'll visit you after the third day." (y/n) ties his hair and gives one last kiss to semi and leaves the luxurious room.

Semi grumbles and flicks his tail side to side, it's been months since both of them were hiding their relationship from everyone. 

Everyone in the palace knew that semi had a lover but no one dared to ask him who it was, many suspected it was one of the higher up but dismissed the idea afterwards. One of the palace maids said that she heard semi talking to someone but when she tried to listen closer, the voice had stopped talking. 

Semi walks down the hallway with his servants, his mood was anything but good. His lover had left early and he had to attend a meeting with the elders plus a chef accidentally gave him rotten fish instead of the newly fresh batch.

Semi wanted to head back to his room to rest but sadly his work said no way, he looks at the pile of papers on his desk and lets out a sigh. If he could, he wished the papers would turn to ashes and let him head to bed early.

"hey did you hear..?"

"I did, it seems that his highness is in a terrible..."

(y/n) over hears several maids gossiping about semi's bad mood, he already knew that today was going to be bad and wanted to comfort him but if he did, his relationship with semi would be expose..

"the chef accidentally used a rotten fish, I feel terrible for his highness.." 'oh boy... Semi's going to have a stomach ache later.' (y/n) puts down his basket and continues on listening to the conversation, "his highness is going to go mad with how many paperwork he has to do, I took a peek and saw a pile of mountain of it! Much more than the royal advisors."

'oh boy... Should I risk it?' (y/n) looks around him, he looks over at the flight of stairs and goes for it anyway.

"why do those geezers hand me all of their fucking work when they themselves have NOTHING to do???" semi wanted to bash his head but he had to make it through the day if he wanted to see his lover.

Knock knock

"not now shira-" "it's me." (y/n) enters the office, his face red from having to run up the flight of stairs and avoiding the guards guarding the front door.

"(y/n)? Your here?!" semi's eyes widen and (y/n) nods, "yep, I came to comfort you... Or so that was my original plan. I'm tired..." (y/n) walks over to the nearest seat he can find and lays there, "... Are you going to stay there...?" "Until I have to do the laundry later, but right now just let me rest." 

Semi smiled and nodded, he wasn't complaining or anything. He liked that (y/n) came here, he snaps his fingers and uses his tail to carry his lover onto his lap. "you can take a nap if you want, I'll wake you up when it's time for hanging the laundry." 

"really?" "of course." semi smiles and kisses (y/n) on the lips, "just relax." 

Next day, news about (y/n) being semi's lover was spread throughout the whole kingdom. Semi was grounded for a whole month with no cuddles or kisses.

(semi has no regrets.)
