'so cold...' was the first thing (y/n) could think of as he emerged from the giant bed, last night's was hazy from the aftermath of their so called 'fore fighting'.

(y/n) grabs a random clothing and limps out of bed and down the hallway to find a glass, 'that damn strawberry head, I'll whack him the next time I accept another one of his challenges...' he pouts and grips the counter edge.

As he rummages through the cabinets, (y/n) spots a cat mug and grabs that instead and fills it to the brim with water and gulps it down like it's his last day on earth.

Once he was done quenching his thirst, he feels a pair of strong arms pulls his waist back and lifting his chin up "good morning (l/n)-chan~" hanamakki smiles and kisses him.

"mm... Good morning Takahiro," (y/n) leans backwards and nuzzles his head towards his boyfriends chest "want some cereal?"

"sure, you can sit down if you want. I'll make it for you." hanamakki winks, making (y/n) chuckle softly "alright, I'll grab my phone and come back." hanamakki lets (y/n) go and reaches for the cereal box sitting on the cabinet.

"where did you go? I swore I charged it before hanamakki stole it.." (y/n) crawls around the bed searching for his phone, 'don't tell me he found it before I charged it??' (y/n) checks hanamakki's side of the bed and finds it thankfully tucked away in the 3rd drawer.

'found it!' he reaches for it and checks his school schedule, thankfully he still had 2 more hours before his first class started.

"(y/n)?" "what is it Takahiro?" (y/n) turns his head and looks at him, "have you found your phone?"

"yeah, why did you hide it in your drawer?" (y/n) steps out of bed slowly walks over and hugs him "I worried that I may drop it so I kept it in my drawer of course."

"hm... Carry me back to the dining table." (y/n) feels hanamakki lifting him up and headed towards the dining room.

"you said you have classes from 9.50 to 2.45pm?" (y/n) munches on his cereal and looks up at hanamakki, "yeah, you can stay with matsukawa or iwaizumi but not oikawa. I'm afraid he'll try to steal you."

"very funny coming from someone who's been friends with him since high school." (y/n) tilts his head and sneakily takes a picture and hides it into his gallery.

"I'll be finish at 1.30pm, I'll buy some Popsicles and fill out our freezer with ice cream. So don't need to worry about me." (y/n) scoops another mouthful of cereal and stands up "I have to meet up with yahaba and kyotani at the canteen to help with their studying, I'll head over to matsukawa's place after that. Bye Takahiro." (y/n) walks back to his room and changes.

"bye (l/n)-chan!" hanamakki smiles and waves at (y/n), (y/n) does the same and shuts the door behind him.

"so did hanamakki ask anything? Did he suspect something suspicious?" yahaba questions (y/n).

"no, I told him I was hanging out with you guys so he won't bother me." (y/n) grumbles and pushes yahaba's face away from his, kyotani growls but calms down once yahaba held his hand "you said you wanted to buy a gift for him but your just as clueless as we are."

"that's why I called you to help me not to criticise me!" (y/n) sighs and rubs his forehead "this is getting nowhere, just buy a small gift like a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses-"

"first, I don't know if he even likes chocolate cause he always buys cream puff and second he's got more roses from oikawa and matsukawa since high school and I don't want to add that to the pile."

"alright, then just buy pastries for him! I'm not going to force you," yahaba says waving his free arm around to calm (y/n) down.

"let's go to the cake store, maybe you can buy a slice of black forest cake or cookies and cream for him."

"sounds like a good idea, let's just do that." (y/n) nods and yahaba leads the way.

"he's not with you?" hanamakki perks up and looks at matsukawa.

"yeah, I thought he was with you. You are his boyfriends of course." matsukawa drapes his jacket over his shoulders "maybe he's still with yahaba and kyotani, try calling them."

Immediately after matsukawa said those words, hanamakki whips his phone out and called yahaba.

"yes?" yahaba's voice said ove rthe phone.

"where's (y/n)?" hanamakki asked, "oh, he headed back to your place. Didn't he tell you?"

"my place?" hanamakki said goodbye to matsukawa and left as quick as he could.

'(y/n) you little..' hanamakki wanted to scold (y/n) for making him worry about him, (y/n) had a thing for scaring people back when he was in high school so it was no surprise hanamakki wanted to angrily scold him.

Bam!

"(y/n) explain yourself!" hanamakki slams open the front door, startling (y/n).

"hm? What?" (y/n) wipes the cream off his bottom lip and looks at hanamakki, "..."

"..."

"... What are you doing?"

"can't you see? I'm eating cake." (y/n) shows him the half devoured (f/f) ice cream cake.

"... Who's cake is that?" hanamakki points to the other cake sitting across him, "yours, I didn't think you were back so early so I planned on eating it together with my ice cream cake."

"please don't, you've already scared me enough with telling me you were going to matsukawa's place."

"oh I decided not to, I just felt tired and went back to our dorm." (y/n) takes another bite out of his cake, "I'll change into comfortable clothes, don't you dare eat my portion."

"can't make promises you can't keep~" (y/n) laughs and leans back on the dining chair.
