"kenma kenma!!" an energetic voice calls over the sleeping kitsune, "kenma look at what (y/n)-kun made for me!!" 

"...?" the sleeping kitsune, now awake when he heard a familiar name being called out, he peeks open one eye then looks the object in hand and sits up having seen enough of what it was and transforms himself into a fox and left. "hey kenma-san! Wait..." the shouting grows faint and only the rustling sound of leaves and branches could be heard.

"here you go, make sure to give your father one dose a day okay?" his ears flickered when he reminds the little girl once more, the little girl nods and hands the medic a nicely wrapped up piece of salmon flesh. 

"(y/n), my son ate some shrimps and suddenly had rashes on his skin and started choking! Please help me," a mother in her mid 20s cried desperately towards the village doctor, (y/n) pats the straw made bed and examines the boy. 

His arms, legs and face had signs of rashes and was trying to scratch them to make the itching go away, "don't do that, it'll only make the itching worsen." (y/n) grabs both the boy's wrist and held them up high, "but-" "no buts, Kuroo, get the medicine that soothes itching and painkillers." 

"on it." kuroo runs into the back room and comes out with a weird green paste and a small pill. 

Once the green paste was applied on the rashes, the itching starts to lessen after a few minutes, the mother frantically thanked (y/n) for saving her son "seems like he's allergic to shrimps, in the future try not to give him seafood, if your unsure about what else he's allergic to, come to me next time and I'll check." 

"yes doctor, thank you so much!" the mother bows her head over and over again, (y/n) tells kuroo to treat the boy and he'll deal with the payment.

The mother hands (y/n) four piece of sweets wrapped in brown paper saying that were kintsuba and that she'll pick her son up tomorrow. 

(y/n) nods and just as he turns around to leave, "where are you going kitten?" "Argh! K-kenma!?" (y/n) was pulled back into a hug, a soft and smooth snake-like feeling slithered up his waist and wraps itself around his waist. 

"kitten how many time did I say to not give random kids my origami's?" 

"but the origami's always float away whenever I place them near a window, I'd rather give them to the kids in the neighborhood than throw them away." (y/n) flicks his right ear and leans his weight onto kenma, his golden eyes kept staring at (y/n). 

When (y/n) doesn't get a response back, he shifts his vision to look at kenma "hey kenken, are you here?" (y/n) pokes kenma's cheek with his (h/c) tail, kenma blinks and nods, sliding one of his tail to intertwin with (y/n)'s tail.

"you little..." (y/n) wanted to curse but they were still in front of his clinic so he couldn't, was kenma this clingy during the spring season? Only kenma himself knows.

"since my lunch break is soon, want to head to Lev's family bento store?" "sure." kenma sticks next to (y/n) as soon as he told kuroo he was going for lunch.

Even in town, kenma was showing PDA towards (y/n), everyone in town knows who he was and didn't mind it. Why? Cause kenma was a godamn nine tail fox from the fox clan!! Even if they complained or tried to show their disgust at the two, all they'll be getting was a vicious and scary face with a 'complain once more and I'll slice that face of yours to pieces.' look. 

"what are you going to order from their shop kenken?" (y/n) ask while rubbing his hand, "... Their fox special with sweet tea." 

"then I wanna get the polar bear bento and miso soup! Don't worry about the money, I'll pay for it." (y/n) smiles and lets out a happy purr when kenma rubs his head. 

Kenma smile back and kisses (y/n) on the neck, (y/n) laughs and rubs his cheek affectionately, even if he dies tomorrow or today, he'll always be grateful for god for letting him spend time with his lover.
