Childhood AU

"kita! Kita! Look! A sparrow!" (y/n) points up towards the large tree branch above their heads.

"..." "hey kita, let's play hide and seek! I'll count and you hide." 

"... Ok." kita gets up while (y/n) shuts his eyes and count to 10, kita finds a nice hiding spot in his house, his grandma chuckles and continues to fold kita's clothes.

"ready or not~ here I come!" (y/n) calls out and steps into the house, he searches for a few minutes looking through every drawer, room and even in the closet. Despite his efforts he can't seem to find where kita is, so in his last attempt, he asks kita's grandma.

"grandma kita, where is shinsuke?" 

Grandma kita looks at (y/n) then points to the rice field, "try looking for him in there." 

"thank you grandma kita!" (y/n) rushes to the rice field and calls out to kita.

"kita~ Are you here?" (y/n) looks around and continues to walk deeper into the rice field and hears rustling noises behind him, "kita~? I know your here~" (y/n) turns around and follows the rustling noises.

After a few minutes of following it, (y/n) reaches the edge of the rice field, there he finds kita and the sparrow playing with a bubble gun. (the ones that children use to make bubbles)

"shinsuke! I found you!" (y/n) runs up to him and tags him, "(y/n), I found the sparrow." 

"yeah, but were you playing with my bubble gun without me? How mean! I wanna play too!" (y/n) pouts and stomps his feet. 

"...since you found me, want to play with me?" 

"of course! What else can I do besides that? Lemme play too!"
