"are you sulking again kiyoomi?" komori asked. Earlier both him and (y/n) had a fight and (y/n) stomped out of his house saying he'll never come back again.

"you know you could've just said something else rather then that right?" 

"what do you take me for? A foolish fox?" sakusa looks outside the window spying on (y/n) sleeping next to his best friend under the tree. "just apologies to him sakusa, he'll forgive you if you say sorry" 

"I doubt it"

"what now?" 

"I said he couldn't come into my bed unless he showered 5 times"

"I think that will definitely set him off and he's the only one who has put up with you other than me" komori shakes his empty chocolate milk box and puts it on his desk "there's a festival coming up. I'm sure (y/n) will go if you ask him to"

'seriously? Is it his best friend?' sakusa squints his eyes at the message absolutely annoyed and pissed off, he first tried gifts but that didn't work out since (y/n) had loads of those. Next was inviting him over to eat dinner but that was a no no since (y/n) had to take care of his ragdoll cat and lastly was inviting him over to the festival which was as you can see...

'what do you want from me??' sakusa puts his phone away thinking intensively on what would be the next solution. 

Next he tries to call komori who agrees to go with him only if he apologizes to (y/n) at the end of the day.

With (y/n)

"none of my yukata fits. I must've been gaining weight since I started 2nd year..." (y/n) throws his last yukata onto the ground, his best friend. Sighs and said "just use any of them! It's not that hard to pick the right one"

"uhh... Yes it is. I have to find the one I like not the one I want dude" (y/n) takes out a few more yukata's to try on but his best friend throws them away and grabs him by the shoulder and shakes him "JUST BUY ONE FROM ONLINE" he screams.

"it's either none or one! I don't know you choose then" (y/n) screams back, meow~ 

"no not you dollie" (y/n) picks his cat up and hugs her meow~

"fine then. You better not regret it. Since it's going to be august this month let's use... cedar bark and sky blue colour." 

"your being way too specific" (y/n) thinks about sakusa wondering how he is, 'wait why am I thinking of him? I'm suppose to be mad at him' he shakes his head, "thinking about kiyoomi again? Just say your sorry geez" 

"he was the one who started it! I didn't do anything" 

"are you talking to yourself..? Or me?" (y/n) blinks twice and went from normal to full on red tomato blush "did... Did I say that..."

"yeah... You did" his best friend sucks in his inner cheeks and bites his lower lip "... Throw me into the river please" he buries his face into a pillow and screams into it.

"dude just... What were you fighting about with him anyway?"

Festival carnival

"(y/n) and his best friend should be here by now" komori said checking his phone, "are you sure? Cause I don't see them" sakusa looks irritated just standing around not doing anything, not to mention he was trying to win back to his boyfriend too.

"komori! Sakusa we're here sorry we're late~ a stall vendor was selling cotton candy and I had to get to the flower shaped one" komori hears the cheerful voice of (y/n) and turns towards him "(y/n)! Your here thank goodness" komori hugs him tightly "what's wrong? Did sakusa spray you with his sanitizer bottle again?" 

"not that I just missed you... Sakusa missed you when you visited him" "komori don't say anything that's irrelevant" sakusa pulls him back by the collar and secures a protective arm around (y/n) "we're leaving" "since when did I say I'll leave with you?" 

"bye (y/n)! Make sure you take care of sakusa for me" komori waves to (y/n), (y/n) looks at his best friend for help but he was nowhere to be seen, 'really? Again?' (y/n) follows sakusa around the festival.

"..." "..." both of them were silent and never spoke to each other, it was somewhat tense... Not to mention komori and Ren[(y/n)'s best friend] were spying on them. "talk to each other you fool!" "their hopeless..." "you said it"

After a few minutes of walking around the festival carnival, sakusa takes (y/n)'s hand and takes off running, "did he see us?" "I don't know?? Did he?" ren and komori looked at each other in confusion.

"let go of me kiyoomi! What is with you?" (y/n) pulls his hand away from sakusa and rubs his wrist "we were being watched..." "by komori and ren? Yeah, I know" (y/n) grumbles. 

"I wasn't the one who planned this out okay? It was Ren and komori, both of them did" 

"no I don't mean that.. Why did you decline my invitation?" "invitation...?" (y/n) doesn't recall any invite letters he was given "I invited you to the festival so why did you decline?" 

"oh that invitation... I thought you were going to ditch me"

"did I ever ditch you in our 5 months of dating?" 

"for volleyball practice? Yes definitely you didn't..." (y/n) turns to leave but sakusa pulls him back "wait I'm sorry" "sorry? For the fight we were arguing a few hours ago?" 

"... Look I know your angry about it but I admit I was angry cause you prefer to stay at your house more then mine"

"? And here I thought you were angry about how I used half of your cleansing materials" 

"I can just buy more, please just come back to me" 

"no means no didn't I say I won't go into your house?" (y/n) stands his ground and refuses "I'll let you use my netflix account, what about the kitchen?" "ha-ha very funny... The fireworks are starting soon. I have to find Ren and komori soon-" "Listen to me will you?" sakusa raises his voice slightly making (y/n) jump "I'm sorry for ditching you when you had plans with me..." "ditching? DITCHING? DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT'S THE ONLY THING I'M MAD ABOUT? What about the times where you said you were busy and couldn't let me come over to your house? You were on the computer texting whoever it is" 

"that was suppose to be a secret... Did you..." sakusa mumbles, (y/n) sighs "if you want to end this then by all means. Just say the word and we'll act as if we never knew each other" 

"..." sakusa bites his inner cheek and hugs (y/n) suddenly, "what are you doing? Let go of me" "not until you forgive me" 

"you little... Let go of me you germaphobe!" (y/n) punches and scratches sakusa to try to let him go. Sakusa does lower his arms, lifts (y/n)'s chin up and goes in for a kiss... At the same time, the fireworks were set off along with a certain two wingmen hiding behind a tree.

"are you seeing this Ren??? Oh my god!!!" komori shakes ren with excitment and happiness "can't believe he actually went in for the kiss." "if it's to save your boyfriend then he would do anything" 

"aren't we stalking them? Should we head back?" "after  this. I wanna see how it goes" 

"..." "will this give you your answer?" sakusa pulls away and hugs him once more, "I thought you said you hated dirty things?" "your the only person I'll tolerate when it comes to cleaniness"
