Summer AU

"FINALLY!! We're at the beach!" nishinoya shouted followed by tanaka who was raising his arms and puffing his chest out excitedly. Hinata followed suit and they ran towards the clear water and started playing.

"oi you three get back here!" daichi yells but none of them had turned deaf ears towards the shouting. Sugawara, asahi, tsukishima and the rest of the volleyball members helped set up their own spot to rest. 

"asahi bring the cooler here." daichi orders, asahi brought the drinking cooler and set it down near the umbrella. 

During the summer break, daichi had suggested that Mr takeda bring them to the beach for a small vacation, that suggestion lead to the other schools (and their rivals) to know that they were at Enoshima beach...

"AKAAAAAASSHIII!! Look!" bokuto shouts and raises his hand up in the air,next to him was akaashi, who looked like he hadn't slept in days. "yes bokuto, its the beach." 

Bokuto takes off running and joins the others who were playing among themselves.

"hey bokuto wait for me!" kuroo joins in as he throws his linen shirt onto the sand and splashes around like a child.

"kuroo! You said you'd help with unpacking stuff!" yaku yells, lev and kenma stood next to him as they unpacked their drinking cooler and beach mat. 

"those idiots will never change..." tsukishima mutter under his breath as he hides himself under the shade.

In shiratorizawa volleyball bus

"speaking of those idiots, who do you think will be there?" tendou leans over to take a peek at (y/n)'s phone screen, "I'm texting akaashi, he said that karasuno, nekoma and aoba johsai are there." (y/n) shows tendou the text message akaashi had sent along with a picture of oikawa possibly being beaten up by iwaizumi.

"oikawa should've come to shiratorizawa." ushijima said and peers over the seat head and glanced at the picture with determination. 

"we get it wakatoshi-kun, oikawa should have come to shiratorizawa but he instead went to aoba johsai. Haa, you should be grateful that (n/n) is here wakatoshi-kun or he would've went to inarizaki instead." tendou slides an arm around (y/n)'s shoulder and lays his head on top of his head.

"whatever you say tendou, (y/n) came to shiratorizawa only because his uncle's the principal, he wanted to go to karasuno instead of shiratorizawa." shirabu rolls his eyes and lifts his sleeping eye mask off, "it's not like that! I've been to nekoma, fukurodani, inarizaki, aoba johsai and much more but the school that left the biggest impression on me was karasuno." 

"is it cause of how muscular the captain was?" semi jokingly said, "-what?! No! Not that semi! The people, I like sugawara since he was like a mother to the other players, asahi may seem like a giant grizzly bear but he's like a black bear, soft and cuddly on the inside." 

"... Now your making me jealous, I want a hug!" tendou pouts and latches himself onto (y/n)'s neck, "tendou please, I need to respond back to akaashi." "he can wait, can't he?" 

"tendou not this again-" 

(y/n)'s helpless when it comes to tendou's bear hug.

After what felt like hours, (y/n) was able to escape tendou's hug and enjoy the atmosphere of the beach!

"(y/n)!!" a familiar voice yells followed by someone tackling him onto the pavement, "(y/n)-kun! Welcome~"
