"What's going on? I can't find Lynette," I asked Sebastian as we all walked to the council room, following Billie and Leda.

"I don't know, but Alister requested our presence. Why couldn't you have worn your best vest?" he said frantically at me.

We were suddenly summoned to the Council Room, but I woke up and Lynette was gone, which worried me.

"Oh please," Emerson scoffed as he adjusted his hat while we all walked to the great hall. "Don't tell me you're getting nervous on us now."

"Wouldn't you if the Warhol's summon the whole manor for a morning meeting after disappearing for 26 years?" Sebastian grunted.

"Maybe its just an announcement or news," Larisa added, holding onto Sebastian's hand.

"What if they take the crowns?" Shy asked.

"Can they do that?" Andrew asked with furrowed brows.

"They founded the empire, they can decide who rules and who doesn't," Sebastian said.

We entered the room, and there on the high pedestal area stood the Warhol's and Lynette, dressed in a simple burgundy gown and hair in a loose braid over her shoulder.

"Lynette!" I sighed with relief and rushed over.

"Remington...." She murmured hurried into my arms as I caught her in my arms, letting her cling to me

"Where were you? I was so worried," I said, pulling back and holding her face in my hands.

"I'm sorry... I just needed some air...." She said as they pulled back and looked at each other. "W-Wait, your eyes are turning red-"

"I-I'm fine, really," I assured her. "It can wait, now what's happening?"

"U-Uhh...." she said, looking back at Alister and Hermes nodded at her before Alister stepped up and banged his cane twice on the ground.

"Come on," she said, taking my hand and kissing my cheek before taking my hand and leading me over to the pedestal.

"So what's going on?" Victoria asked as they all turned to us.

Lynette looked at Alister, who nodded.

"After careful deliberations with our niece," Alister announced. "We have come to a few decisions..... Your newly found princess would like to state them...."

My eyes widen as I looked at Lynette, who just gave me an assuring nod before letting my hand go and taking a step forward, facing the others.

"I...... I am currently coming to grips with everything I've found out in a matter of..... Almost 24 hours, give or take.....?" she sighed. "Its not every day you go from being an abused foster kid to being heir to an entire empire you didn't even know existed until about half a year ago....."

Everyone look at each other worriedly.

"Although.... Talking with my.... Uncles, I've decided on some things...." I said, then sighed softly. "Wow, that's going to take some getting used to....."

"You'll adjust," Hermes chuckled.

I nodded and took a deep breath.

"Okay, I have some things I need to say," I said.

Everyone listened as they looked at me.

"First.... I'm not taking claim to the throne.... Not yet, at least..." I said. "Sebastian and Larisa, you guys worked too hard to get here, and I'm not just going to rip that away from you.... It wouldn't be fair...."
