"Yeah."
"Who's gonna fetch me later Momma?"
"Appa will."
Proud na itinaas ni Andrew ang kamay nya habang nagluluto while I am still fixing my reports.
"Yey!"
I rolled my eyes. Iba talaga itong anak ko magparamdam ng pagmamahal oh! Madalas na nakakalimot na ako ang kanyang ina.
"Pag susunduin, susunduin lang ha Hon? Not going to buy anything!"
Nagtinginan si Aya and Andrew.
"Tigilan nyo akong dalawa ha! If someone bought another BTS merch, I promise you both, we're not going to the soiree."
"Momma!"
"Aya, your BTS merch collection is even taller than you!"
"Appa!"
"Isa ka pa Andrew ha. If you're going to buy Aya a new merch, then, I'd make sure we'll go to my father's house and we will sleep there for a month or more than that!"
"But Hon! I am not allowed for a sleepover in your father's house!"
"Exactly!"
Andrew and I are together for almost 3 years. When Andrew promised that he will win Aya, he championed it. It was even Aya's idea to call him Appa.
Sino ba naman ang hindi mananalo sa puso ng bata when he was present in everything. He was always there, kacompete si Daddy. He was there every Aya's first day in school. He's always there to pick up Aya from school. He was there at all of Aya's performances even the first time Aya reads a poem to the class. He was there and he was never absent in Aya's every milestone. Kulang na lang talaga, sya ang ama ni Aya sa papel because he was more than a father to my daughter.
"Hon."
"No merch, Aya, Hon. Okay?"
Both sighed.
"I'm leaving, see you later!"
"Are we eating outside?"
"I can't but you both can eat out, dadaan ako kila Daddy."
The forum ended early, it's just until 2pm kaya maaga ako nakapunta kila Daddy. At dahil andun na lang din naman ako, I am pretty sure doon ako magdinner. Dad's the outgoing president and I am the incoming kaya marami akong inaasikaso. I worked triple just to make sure I deserve his trust. Minsan natatawa ako, sinong magaakalang sa aming lima, ako pa ang magmamana ng posisyon ni Daddy.
"Mommy?"
"Nasa kwarto po si Maam, Ms. Sab."
I went up. Sinisimulan na ayusin ni Mommy ang gamit nila. She and Daddy will be flying back to Germany to be with Nana and Lolo. Doon sila magstay para sa retirement nya. A few more months, Daddy would still be active and he'll be leaving the Philippine Branch to me.
"Mi, lahat ba ipapack? Tsaka bakit ikaw pa nagpapack nyan Mi? Anjan naman sila Manang?"
"Nako ilan lang naman 'to. Mga favorite lang ni Daddy mo na damit. Ay sinong kasama mo?"
"Ako lang po Mommy, tomorrow naman andito lahat diba? Myelle said she'll cook dinner."
"Akala ko kasama mo si Aya eh."
"Iniwan ko na muna kay Andrew Mi, late kasi uwi non today."
"Anak, ayaw mo bang pasamahin na lang si Aya sa amin ni Daddy?"
