We went outside the room and went into the big sitting room in the palace.

"I wonder where they all went." I said, feeling restless.

Just then, Raya came running to me.

"Raya!!" I carried her and she licked me happily. "Why are you so excited?" I asked and just then, the door opened widely.

"Mum!" I called as I saw my mum in Ray's hands. Tears fell down my cheeks as I ran to them.

My mum looked at me, tears was also in her eyes. Ray let her stand on her own. I ran to them and held her hands.

"....e.....El........ Elena!" She called slowly and I gave her a warm tight hug.

Immediately, the queen called the family doctor. Mum looked very pale and thin.

"Take the soup mum. It will heal you." I sat close to her as she rested on her bed. The doctor already examined her and prescribed a herbal drug she would take three times daily.

"But it's bitter." Mum gave a rough look.

"The truth is always bitter mum. Take it please."

"Fine. Don't give me useless proverbs. Where were you all these while?"

I had to tell my mum everything that happened and also about my fiancee, Ray.

Mum was so shocked as she looked at me. Immediately I finished talking, the door opened and Ray entered.

"I came to check on her."

"She's getting better Ray. Thank you so much. Mum......this is Ray. My fiancee." I was trembling as I told her.

"Good evening aunt. I hope you get better soon."

"You.......saved me."

"It's nothing. You are my mate's mother and I can do anything for you and her." I smiled as I heard that.

"Mum you need to rest now. You have a lot to do....get well soon."

"What are the things I have to do?" Mum looked confused.

"Well...... queen mother told me that you will be crowned the next queen immediately. After you get well."

"But I don't want to............."

"Mum......just sleep and rest first. We will talk about it later, tomorrow." I smiled impatiently.

Mum nodded her head and I went out with Ray. "Raya.......watch her. And do not disturb her." I said to Raya as I left. Muin also waited outside the room as her guard.

My destiny is to be your queen and serve you. I hope you guys will follow your destinies by supporting me." My mum gave a light speech. She was still very tired.

"My name is Elena. Elena Anabel Eric Donalds. I am your princess. And meet my fiancee. My mate. Ray." I wasn't ready to start explaining Ray's history so I just stopped there.

The queen mother addressed everyone and dismissed them later.

"So you are a princess!" Muin asked me as we sat down eating lunch together as a family in the dining table.

"Turns out I have always been a princess."

"You have a very huge responsibility now. I hope you know....you are the princess of the land and the Luna of the forest." Muin said to me sternly.

Everyone focused their eyes on me, expecting me to speak.

"Well......I.......I promise to do my best to rule both the land abd the sea. But I will never be able to do it without your assistance. You guys are my family."
