ON THE RUN 1

Ray and I are outside practicing how to use the sword. Ray was showing me some steps and tactics in using the sword. Raya sat close and watched us fight.

"You're too poor. Can't you even get one step right?" Ray was scolding me as I kept on failing the same steps again and again.

"Well you see I'm trying. You think it's easy? As if you got it all in one day."

"Oh! Yes it wasn't easy. But I wasn't as dull and poor as you are."

"There is no need calling me names. I'm trying my best." I said angrily as I dropped the sword I was holding.

"Well, your best is not enough. It's not even close to what we need."

I looked at him as he spoke. No iota of care or consideration in him. I angrily went inside.

"Woo woo." Raya barked at me angrily as I left.

"Don't interfere in this Raya." I told her and went inside.

"Can you see her? She thinks she's an egg. No one must scold her." I heard Ray talk to Raya.

Well, I didn't care He can say whatever he wants to.

I sat close to the cave, thinking about my life and how it turned like this. I miss my mum. I knew if she were here now, she would have given me words of encouragement. Instead of scolding me like Ray.

Ray went to sit close to Raya. They were busy chitchatting. Suddenly,...............

"Get Elena. We have company." Ray ordered.l and Raya ran to me.

Ray quickly stood up. He was hearing footsteps and perceiving the scent of a third party.

Raya and I ran outside quickly. I saw Ray was panicking.

"Who's that?" I asked looking worried.

"The enemy." Ray answered. "We need to leave. Immediately." Ray said and dragged my hand. I quickly Carried Raya in my arms.

"Where are you going without me?" We heard a sweet female voice. "I'm sure you already know I've arrived. You should have just waited for me."

"Who are you and what do you want?" Ray asked facing her.

"I want you. All of you. And I'm not going anywhere without you." She said calmly, smiling.

I wondered how someone so calm and beautiful could be wicked. I'm sure she's not here to fight. We'll just assure her to go back while we go our way. I looked at Ray......what is he thinking?

"Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Bit we are not coming with you. Go back calmly without us."

She smiled beautifully hearing what Ray said. "Well I'm sorry too. But you have to come with me. Either willingly or forcefully." She gave a smirk.

'This girl is really beautiful but scary.' I thought.

Ray stood his ground. He was ready to fight.

"Alright then......as...you.....wish." She said and brought out her hands. Swords emerged from her hands and my face was in awe.

"Before I forget, my name is....Reyna." She said and pounced on Ray.

The fight was very powerful and wild. The only thing I was seeing was the Breeze that emerged from them. They were as fast as the wind, slashing here and there.

"Im not here to kill you. Just come with me peacefully. You can't beat me." She shouted as they fought.

"You don't need to worry about me. Worry about yourself." Ray shouted back.
