Chapter 6
Graduation gift

KENZIE HADEYA

CROSS

HAPPY GRADUATION, Cross!

Thank you, Kenzie!

Where's my gift? :)

Huh?

Should I give you a gift too?

Isn't my greeting enough?

You're hurting my feelings again, Kenzie :(

Why are you like that?

Hey, I'm nice to you ha!

I was just kidding!

I'll give it to you later

You just like to sulk, Cross

HAHAHA

"Friends huh." I heard Kuya York scoffed.

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

"Make sure that Cross and you will stay as 'friends' until you're eighteen." He said, emphasizing the word friends.

My eyes widened as I glanced at the front where our parents are.

I placed my index finger in front of my lips. "Shh, Kuya! Mom and Dad might hear you! And Cross and I are really friends. You don't have to worry about that, okay?" I assured him.

Kuya York scoffed as he shook his head. "Not in my eyes."

We're still young to even think of something more than that.

Bubulyawan ko talaga si Yaser mamaya.

"HAPPY GRADUATION, SALUTATORIAN!" I enveloped Kendall in a tight hug, pagkarating na pagkarating namin sa tapat ng auditorium. The Molina clan is almost complete, we're just waiting for Keira and her parents.

"Thank you, Kenny!" She smiled after letting go from the hug. "Where's my graduation gift?" She wiggled her brows and even extended her hands in front of me.

I playfully rolled my eyes and got the brown frame from my tote bag. "Tada!" I showed her my graduation gift for her.

It's a portrait of her. I also drew a portrait of Kuya York, Yusef and Yannick for their graduation gift. I've been thinking about it for a while now and I'm happy that it turned out fine.
