          ANNE'S EYES GLISTENED in glee as she looked at the gown, I designed for her. "It's perfect. I'll for sure win because of this gown, Kenzie. Thank you so much for this! I don't even know how to repay you for helping me."

Agad kong winagayway ang kamay ko sa kanya at binigyan siya ng malaking ngiti. "Just do your best in representing our section for the competition. That's already enough for me." I smiled widely.

She firmly nodded her head. "I'll definitely do my best! Thank you ulit talaga, Kenzie! Ipapakita ko na 'to agad kay Mom para mapatahi na."

Marahan ko siyang tinanguan. "You're welcome, Anne. Goodluck!" I gave her a thumbs up before returning to my seat.

Malalim akong bumuntong hininga pagkaupo ko sa upuan ko. That wasn't bad. Maybe I can practice being casual and talking a bit more with my classmates. Then eventually I can make friends again.

I'll do it one step at a time.

I was pulled out from my train of thoughts when I felt my phone vibrated. I took it out of my bag's pocket and checked who sent me a message.
