Chapter 14
ScrunchiesKENZIE HADEYA
"HAPPY GRADUATION, VALEDICTORIAN!" Kendall greeted me with a warm smile and a tight hug as we exited the auditorium.
I giggled as I hugged her back. "Thank you, Dall!"
"Here's my graduation gift! Hope you like it!" She said as she let go of the hug and handed me a white paper bag.
My eyes glistened as I accepted her gift. A wide smile crept into my lips when I saw the art materials inside the paper bag. I immediately hugged Kendall again. "I love it! Thank you, Dall!"
"You're always welcome, Kenny." She giggled as she slightly rubbed my back.
When Kendall and I let go of the hug, our cousins and parents just got out of the auditorium. She was so excited to give me her gift that she couldn't wait any longer.
Our cousins on the other hand would take pictures inside of the auditorium before leaving. Kaya tinakas na ko ni Kendall.
"Kenzie! Asan na portrait ko? Tumupad ako sa usapan." Yeshua smiled widely as he showed me his medal.
He didn't just top his class but he's our batch salutatorian! I can't believe he really took Kendall's condition seriously last year. Yeshua is smart even without trying, but he really took his studies seriously this time and became salutatorian.
I smiled as I tiptoed to slightly pat his head. "Your graduation gift is waiting for you at our car."
He winked before running towards my dad to probably borrow our car's keys.
What a crackhead.
Yale came out of nowhere and is now pouting in front of me like a sad puppy.
"Yale sad boy era na ba 'to?" Yaser teased.
Muli akong natawa at bahagyang napailing. "Of course not, Yaser." I assured him.
I smiled instantly as I saw Yavin's charming smile and Colin's small smile. Yavin was holding the bouquet and Colin is holding a white box in his hands.
