Chapter 5
Pigtail, no moreKENZIE HADEYA
I WAS TYING my hair into a nice pigtail when my cousins barged inside my walk-in closet.
She participated in softball. She's the sporty cousin like Yale.
"You do know that Jadrien will untie that later, right?" Kendall raised her brow at me.
I instantly rolled my eyes upon hearing that nuisance's name. "Subukan niya lang. I'm required to tie my hair for the performance."
"When will that feud between the both of you ever stop?" Keira asked kidding as she and Kait roamed at my clothes like they were window shopping.
"When he stops poking fun at me I guess." I shrugged.
Wala naman akong pakealam sa kanya, eh. Siya lang talaga 'tong nagsimula and I won't give up without putting up a good fight. We weren't raised that way. Our grandparents always told us to fight for what is right and fighting for myself is considered right.
"Are the guys with you?" I asked as I begun to put powder on my face.
"Si Yusef at Yannick lang." Kait answered still window shopping at my wardrobe.
I slightly giggled. "Annoyed at Yale again huh?"
Kendall sighed in frustration as she rolled her eyes.
Yale tends to be annoying at times but when your sad he can definitely cheer you up. Ganun nga talaga, you can't have it all.
"Hey! Stop being pissed at Yale. It's like you're pissed at me as well." Kayleigh grunted.
Kait slightly giggled. "Don't worry, Leigh. You're much more tolerable unlike Kuya."
Kayleigh happily nodded as she stood up to throw the empty plastic of protein bar. She joked.
Sabay sabay din kaming natawang apat. This is one of the good qualities Kayleigh has. She's literally the female crackhead of the Molina cousins.
They really enjoy watching basketball games. I wonder why they don't actually play it.
"Let's go!"
