"Chapter 2" Our World

As the bell rang, classes were over and children ran through coridors to get out of the school as fast as possible.

-Let's go, Devina!

-Finally, i've been waiting for this day to end since it started! You know Cassey, this week did go really fast, what do you think?

-Yep, it did. By the way, my mom will give us a lift to the shopping market.

-Nice!

As the girls moved closer to the school car park, they saw black audi q7, which belongs to Ruby, Casseys mom.

Even though the girls were old enough to drive a car, none of them had a drivers licence. They both were 18, and Casseys mom was 38.

Ruby married when she was sixteen, and got her first child after 4 years. Now she's a widow, her husband died in a car accident, and sometimes she still struggles while driving a car.

Cassey and Ruby live alone ever since, and her mom doesn't even think about re-marrying someone.

„I don't want to feel the pain of loss no more,"that's what she said when Cassey asked, if she would like to get a boyfriend.

-Hey mom,- Cassey hugged her mother.

-Hey sweety, how was your day?

-Hello, - Devina greeted Ruby.

-How are you Devina?

-Im fine, thank you.

-Girls, you ready?

-Mom, when ever you say that, it means you will stay with us.

-And i will, the office gave me half day free, so if you don't mind, i would like to do some shopping as well.

-Mom, don't you think you're too old for that?- her mom just giggled,- besides, you are not looking for anyone, so where is the point of buying something new?

-Yeah, laugh along, while you can. Even if im not looking for anyone, that still doesn't mean, that i have to wear last decade clothes, now does it?

-Fair enough,- Devina laughed, and after half an hour they reached the market. They parked it in a safe place, not far from the driveaway, and went to spend some money.

-I heard „Triffon" is having half price sale this weekend, starting from today.

-Oh, wow! Let's go!

When they walked in, it was crowded. Woman passing by with dosens of shopping bags in their hands, and their husbands following slowly, carrying the rest of the heavy bags.

Closing down sales or the last season sales were always awesome, everything cheaper than usual, good price and good quality.

Ruby and Devina both saw a dress.

-I would want to try that one,- they both said in unison. A beautiful looking dress, red&black, perfectly fitting to the maniken.

-While you try it on, i will check that side, alright?- Cassey said and took off, while both ladies waited for the trying rooms to be available.

Two rooms got empty, right next to each other, and they both stepped in. It took a while to get out of those clothes, but just a short while to get into those dresses.

-Oh my god! I love it!

-I wanna see, i wanna see!- they both stepped out, looking gorgeous.

-You look amazing, miss Ruby!

-You too, Devina, wow!

-I will buy this one,- Devina went back inside and started to reach for the zipper, when something unexpected happen.

The mirror.

-What the...?- Devina asked to herself, it looked like the mirror is melting,- miss Ruby?

-Yeah?- she responded.

-There is something wrong with the mirror...- Devina moved her hand to touch it.

-What do you mean?- Ruby asked, while dressing back in her jeans and blause.

-Oh, what...- Devina touched the glass and it started to move her inside of the frame, Devina screamed.

Ruby got out of the dressing room and opened the curtain to see someting her eyes wouldn't believe.

-Devina, hold on! I will get you out!

-Help! Please help!- Devina screamed.

-Hold on!- Ruby grabbed Devinas hand, and the unexpected happen, the mirror took them both.

Shop assistant saw a weird light coming from the dressing room, and walked closer to see what the shouting was about. Before the light, she saw a woman walk in the other room.

She opened the curtain to see nothing.

Just a bunch of clothes, shoes, hand bag and empty hanger. She took a look at the next room, to see sort of the same, but the opposite.

The dress was on the hanger, shoes on the floor and a hand bag on the chair.

She started pacing around asking if anyone saw anything.

-What is going on?- Cassey appeared.

-Where is my mom? Mom? Devina?- everyone got evacuated from the dressing rooms.

-Miss, who are you looking for?

-My mom and my friend both went to try on a dress.

-Is this your moms?- she showed Cassey her moms handbag.

-Yes, where is my mom?

-Miss, we don't know what happened... but...

-What are you talking about? Mom, if this is a part of a joke, it's not funny!!!

-Miss calm down, we...- then Cassey saw her friends bag as well.

-That belongs to my best friend, if you don't explain what happened, i will kill you! And im not joking!
