Mirror Kingdom- Flowers and Cakes

Devina was in her room the whole day, and Rose came to see her every three hours to serve food, and the next time she came, Rose carried a vase with flowers.

-What are those?

-Miss Devina, these are flowers.

-From who?

-Prince Nathan.

-Send them back.

-But..

-No buts, i don't care, leave me alone.

-But miss, you will be his wife.

-I won't, that title belongs to Cassey.

-Cassey? Rubys daughter?

Cassey walked through coridors and meet Nathan, who carried another vase of flowers.

-Are those for Devina?

-Yes, they are.

-She won't take them.

-I guess i will have to try then.

Cassey walked further and soon she entered the haall with a lot of paintings. She was surprised to see every person looking the same.

-Yep,- she jumped slightly.

-You scared me.

-Im sorry,- Demos talked.- how is your friend.

-She's not ok, that's for sure. My mom didn't explain anything. Would you mind filling me in?

Demos nodded.

-Ok,- Cassey was looking at the paintings and saw an opportunity to ask a question.- How is it possible, that you all look the same?

-It's a gift from gods.

-But, there won't be a chance of giving birth to a girl, that's what they said, life isn't that easy, even for us.

She fell in love with a king, but he didn't return his feelings, so she thought it's for the best to curse him. If he didn't want to touch her, he won't be able to touch any woman without harming her.

-Ew.

Demos giggled.

-You can say that. But this part of the curse wasn't all, she needed to add more to it. So, after a few hours she decided to come forth and set another curse on top of that one. If we do marry, and we did, as you can see, the female will only give birth to one child- a boy. Without no exception.

-It looks like you do take all that marriage thing quite serious,- Cassey pointed to a painting.

-Yes, we do. We make that day the best of our wife lives, even if it means we won't be happy after.

-With loads of flowers and cakes?

-Yes, with loads of flowers and cakes, and the most gorgeous wedding gowns. And if you truly are my sons love, you will have that too.

-So what happened to the witch?
