Mirror Kingdom "Chapter 26"

-Morning,- Devina shifted in her bed, trying to understand who was talking to her, while she still tried to wake up.

-Is this a dream?- she asked.

-Do you want it to be a dream?- Demos walked closer to her.

-I don't know,- her eyes opened and she felt peaceful, so she didn't understand what is going on,- i feel so good...

Demos was beside her kissing her softly, his hand traveled under the blanket, down her waist and hip, when he reached her leg, that was clearly covered with the long night gown.

-I wish i could just make it disapear...- his soft whisper made Devina shiver.

-How can i not feel the pain,- she asked,- what did you do?

Demos didn't answer, but kissed her again, as if he drank from her lips.

-My princess,- he whispered between kisses,- i need you...

When the gown disapeared, Devina screamed.

-What is it?

Devina just got out of her dream, when Demos was beside her holding her.

-You were dreaming,- he said.

-Oh, wow,- she breathed loudly,- that was... a ...dream. Is it morning already?

-Yes,- Demos replied,- what did you dream about.

Watching Demos, she blushed.

-Nothing important.

-You just blushed, what was it?

-Nothing...- if she wanted to bury herself under the blanket, now would be the best time to do so.

-If i didn't know any better, i'd say you dreamed about me...- he laughed a little, and when Devina hid under the blanket, he laughed more.- tell me.

-It was weird,- was all she said.

-Im curious, Devina, tell me more.

-No.

-I can tickle the truth out of you, you know. Oh, come on, was it that bad?

He took off the blanket and watched Devina closer. She seemed so innocent.

-Why are you so shy?

-That's how i am.

-Well, before you slapped me and screamed at me, and then you weren't shy at all, so...

-I want...- she didn't end her sentence.

-If you want me to kiss you, i'd be more than happy to oblige.

-No, that's not what i meant,- Demos smiled.- i wished to tell you all, but i can't.

-Ok, i will discover on my own, or, just ask Ruby.

-You think Ruby will know all the answers?

-Well, she is a woman, and usually you do share all kinds of stuff with a friend, as she is one, am i right.

Devina nodded, and then groaned.

-You ok?

-I need Ruby to change that thing,- she mentioned on her wound.

-I can help you,- he stood up and went to get everything she needs.

-I will let you help me, but with one condition.

-Im listening.

-You will close your eyes when i tell you to, is that clear?- Demos nodded and came back to sit on the side of her bed.

-Close your eyes,- Demos did as he was told, and Devina took of her blanket, and moved her gown up, untill it reached her breasts, and the wound was reachable, she put back the blanket, so only her stomach was naked,- now you can help.

Demos opened his eyes and took off the bloody gauze, cleaning the wound, then applying some sort of cream and putting on a new pad.

-All done,- he said, and touched the gown to pull it back,- i can close my eyes if you'd like that, but let me help you with this.

-Close them,- Demos smiled but closed his eyes again, and moved the gown down on her body.

He was careful not to touch her even if he wanted to, and he did... oh, how he did want to touch her.

-Thank you,- Devina said, and reached for a glass of water.

-Devina,- Demos stopped, he wanted to tell her his emotions so badly, but he stopped mid sentenced, his breathing was getting faster as if he couldn't contain himself together anymore.

-Yes?- Devina asked, her eyes filled with innocence and questions.

-I think im gonna go,- he was gone within minutes.- if you need something, try screaming. Oh, nah, i will get a maid for you.

Saying that he was gone.

-Now that was weird.
