Mirror Kingdom- The life has begun

Rose walked slowly, because she knew both women are looking around, to find an exit or something like that.

-If you want to run, there is no place to hide.

-What?- Ruby asked.

-If you find a way to get out of here, there is no way to escape from the king and his son. Everyone would see you are different, they would want you to themselves. The king can give you all you need, and he will get you to adjust to all of this.

-You don't get it, do you?- Devina asked.- I don't want to be here!

-But you will stay here, remember, the mirror brought you here.

-So? That doesn't change the fact that im hair against my will!

They walked in a long coridor, then up the stairs, and again through many, many doors and coridors, when they entered a hall.

Just like the one they were in a moment ago.

This hall didn't contain any mirrors, but it was full of portraits and other paintings. Rose stopped in front of one family portrait.

-This is master Demos father and his wife, who was human, just like you.

-That's not Demos,- Ruby said,- it's Nathan.

-It is master Demos, he looks like his father now,- Rose pointed to another painting,- that is great grandfather of master Demos.

-Why do they all look the same?

-It's a gift,- Rose smiled, and it was a gift. All family man looked gorgeously handsome. Dark hair, blue eyes, dashing smile.- but there is a curse amongst them.

-What?

-The man can never touch a woman without hurting them.

-What do you mean?

-You hit master Demos, did you feel the pain?

-Yeah, i felt it alright, but i think i just hit him really hard. But how do they, i mean,- she giggled.

-Master always finds a way,- Rose explained.

Devina looked at the portrait of Demos when he was younger together with his mother and father. The human woman, she was beautiful, but there was also sadness in her eyes.

-She was taken away from her home, and she never got a chance to return,- she spoke.

-We should go, master won't be pleased if we stay here that long.

They moved forward and soon they reached the west wing, and the room. It felt like five star hotel room.

The view was truly amazing.

Devina stared out of the window. She didn't even notice Ruby, who was standing next to her.

-It looks like our world, but at the same time it's nothing like our world. It has forests and flowers i've only seen drawn in childrens books... How did we get here? Wasn't it suppose to be just a dream?

-What do you mean?

-Why are we here? I wish i just hit my head while changing into this stupid dress,- she was still wearing it.

Rose knocked on the door.

-Miss, we found some clothes that should fit you.

-I don't want anything,- Devina whispered.

-Your clothes are in your room, miss Ruby.

-Thank you, Rose,- she tried to be polite to the girl, who had nothing to do with them getting trapped here, she was just doing her job.
