Mirror Kingdom "Chapter 28"

Devina was sitting next to the waterfall, she remembered her epic fail with Nat, and then, she remembered Demos in the water.

Half of him all wet and... yep, she did like him after all.

-What the heck is wrong with me?- she talked to herself, and heard someone giggling. She stood up and followed the sound.

Her heart beating almost stopped, Nathan and Cassey were both naked in the garden, and it looked like they were about to make love.

Devina was there, watching with no shame what-so-ever, she was a little curious, but just a little. When it would get hot, she would just disapear.

Demos saw Devina and slowly approached her, poking her shoulder playfully.

Devina jumped and turned around.

-What are you doing?- Demos asked smiling.

-Uhm,- Devina tried to think of an excuse, but she knew that Demos can't find out what she was looking at, and she grabbed his hand,- nothing...

She dragged him away, and made sure, Demos wasn't looking back.

-What's the rush?- he asked.

-I...uhm....- she didn't know what to say, and she blushed making Demos hella suspicious.

-Devina, who was there?

-No one,- she lied.

-Was it Nat? I haven't seen him the whole day.

-No, i haven't seen Nathan at all,- she continued to lie, and Demos knew what to do. He held her pressed against his body, and he slowly moved his head, breathing on Devinas neck, his cheek brushing against hers.

Devina wanted to choke, but she didn't want Demos to find Cassey and Nathan, doing what they were doing, it would be... well, embarassing.

She breathed in, considering what she was about to do, but to keep Demos here, she had to do it.

Her hand traveled to his face and cupped his cheek, Demos was looking at her, Devina whispered.

-Kiss me...- he watched her closely and reached for her lips, and when they brushed hers, he kissed her with a passion that could burn.

Devinas stomach protested, and her thoughts were making her go insane, but she kissed him back, with the corner of her eyes spotting Nathan and Cassey all dressed up, sneaking away.

She stepped back from Demos, but he dragged her back and kissed her again.

-Not gonna let you go,- was all he said before returning to kiss her. She wanted to cry, becouse this was making her sick, she had to hold on.

-Thank you,- she whispered between the kisses, but Demos knew better, he knew all.- but... i think... i have to go...

-No you don't,- he let her breath in, while he talked,- Devina, i know a lot of stuff, i know when a person is lying to me, and i know you saw Nathan with your friend, and you know that i am angry. Not because you lied...

-No?- she asked.

-Well, yes and no, to be honest, but i'll deal with you later, when you feel better, and when your wound will heal. Now, i will deal with them.

-Demos, wait!- Devina grabbed his hand again.

-You know, all this get's me more wind up, and you won't be pleased if i'd have you here on the grass.

-Ew,- she said and let go immediately.

-It is forbidden to...- Demos was truly angry, Devina could see it,- have..

-Oh, god, don't do this,- Devina faked choking, and laughed when she left Demos mid sentenced,- please, Demos. They didn't do anything wrong.

-I saw them,- he stated,- and now, im going, and you can't stop me, besides, i know, you would really like to vomit, because kissing me is probably disgusting.

He walked away.

-Demos, wait!- she ran in front of him.

-What now?- he asked.

-It wasn't disgusting.

-Devina, if you, but lie to me one more time, i will put you over my knee again.

-Im not lying,- Demos arched his brow,- it's just... weird. Kissing an older man is weird, and it's freaking me out. I just... can't...

It was true. Her fear was written in her face, and only then Demos understood what Ruby meant.

-I hope you will like me someday, - he stepped away,- and now, get inside, before i...

-Put me over your knee?- Devina was mocking him.

-Yes.

She giggled.

-Im not joking,- Devina walked together with Demos, until they reached the door, and then they went separate ways.

He saw both lovers going towards the ball room and stopped them.

-You're not going anywhere...- he wasn't angry, he was pissed,- in the throne room, now. Both of you.

-Oh, no,- Nathan whispered.
