Being Insecure

Steve - You often yourself feeling insecure because Steve gets hit on by girls all the time. Do they stick around? No. Does he always shut them down? Yes. But you can't help but feel worried that one day some girl is going to start flirting with him and he's just gonna leave you behind. On the other hand, Steve feels insecure himself because he thinks you can do better. He thinks you should be dating some college hotshot and not a single mom who works in a video store and has no friends his own age.

Eddie - He's very insecure when it comes to you. He's had to deal with a lot of shit in his time and he can't help but feel he's dragging you down. Since you started dating him you have had to endure some 'teasing' from other students who don't like Eddie. Normally the insults are ultimately directed at him but he just feels like you shouldn't have to put up with this crap. In head he's just some loser drug dealer who can't graduate high school but you manage to see past that. Honestly, the amount of reassurance Eddie needs sometimes would be annoying if he wasn't so damn adorable.

Max - You both think that the other would be happier with someone else. Max knows she hasn't been in the best of spirits since Billy's death and thinks you deserve to be in a fun, happy relationship with someone who is able to be all sunshine and smiles all the time. You feel the exact same way knowing that you too have certain issues and you don't want to weigh Max down with your problems. When one of you confesses this though, the other is quick to offer reassurances because deep down you both selfishly know that you never leave the other behind.

Peter - He felt massively insecure but he'd mask it with this weird power, rage, controlling vibe. Truth is, Peter knows you can do better than the weird guy with mind voodoo powers and is stuck in a lab. In fact one of his biggest fears is you going off and meeting someone who is nice and kind and then never coming back to visit peter. Deep down every time you leave him he can't help but wonder whether or not he'll see you again. 

Robin - You were insecure that Robin would one day realise just how annoying you are and decide that you're not worth the hassle. In fact you worry over every little thing you say just in case it ends up coming across as annoying or clingy to her. This is ridiculous though because Robin can be so blissfully oblivious to other people sometimes. Ironically, Robin also is insecure about the same thing and also worries that you'll find her rambling or weird logic annoying and will break up with her.

Mike - You're insecure of a lot of things, mainly to do with a appearance and such but mainly (when it comes to Mike) you're insecure about how you don't compare to El. El is such a cool person and you couldn't love her more. Unlike you, El has those really cool powers as well as the privilege of being Mike's first love (even if he won't admit it). You know El would never try and date you're boyfriend again but you can't but feel like Mike compares you to her sometimes. This makes you feel really insecure because you and El are completely different so it's not fair to compare you against each other.

Will - He's just an insecure little bean. He's insecure over everything but you'll always be there to reassure him that everything will be fine and tell him that you think he's the greatest thingy ever.

Lucas - You get insecure whenever you spend time with Lucas and his friends. The party is really lovely and couldn't be more welcoming but every now and then they make these little comments, like inside jokes, and it can make you feel a little confused or left out. Lucas cares a lot about his friends and you just always want them to like you. You often find yourself worrying over what you're saying because you want them to like you so badly.

Dustin - You're insecure because you're nowhere near as smart as him. Sometimes he'll help you with homework and you end up feeling all insecure because Dustin explains it to you like its the easiest thing in the world. And sometimes it is but Dustin is so kind and patient and finds it kinda cute when you get all confused. 

Nancy - She is so so ambitious and knows exactly what she wants from life whereas you're just completely clueless. You're insecure over this because sometimes when she's sat there planning out her future you feel dumb just because you can't even tell her what sort of uni degree you want to do let alone a career you're interested in. 

Jonathan - You're both insecure about alot of things. You're insecure about you appearance specially when it comes to having photos taken of you (and especially when they're being taken by Jonathan). He's insecure because he always has and always will feel like a massive outcast and feels like he is not good enough for anyone.
