What a Future With Eddie is Like

- When you graduated high school, Eddie had to stay back another year, so rather than leave Hawkins without him you got a job and saved up some money for your own place.

- Once you are both graduated you move out of Hawkins to some sort of city where you can go to college and he can pursue a career in music.

- You live together in this tiny one bedroom apartment with your cat Steve (a name Eddie had no say in.)

     - "y/n can be please name it something else?"

     - "But I think Steve is a wonderful name."

     - "y/n it's a girl, Steve is a girl."

     -"Still a wonderful name."

- Whenever you come home from a stressful day or work or college, Eddie would run a bubble bath for the two of you  so you guys can relax together.

- Lots and lots of sex.

- You comforting him whenever he has nightmares about Crissy and the upside down.

     - "Shhh, it's okay baby its all over. You're safe."

- Going to every one of his concerts whether it be in a bar with 20 people in it or a hall with over 100. 

- Him writing songs about you and waking you up in the middle of the night just so he can play it to you.

- You picking a tattoo out for him to get so you're always with him.

     - "You know people normally just get their name tattooed right?"

     - "Yeah but that's a bit tacky and what if you broke up with me or some shit."

     - "I'd never break up with you princess. Besides, a tattoo of Kermit the Frog isn't very metal."

- Pretty much always wearing his shirts.

- Once you graduate college he proposes to you despite the two of you not really thinking marriage is necessary.

     -"Do you think we should get married or something, y'know for convenience."

     - "What do you mean convenience?"

     - "Like if you were to die in a horrific accident I would have no claim over you and that's pretty shitty."

     - "So we should get married?"

     - "Yeah, if you want to."

     - "Okay sure."

- Having smallish wedding and only inviting close family and friends. Its adorable nonetheless.

- Him being very public with his affections for you so all the people he works with and all the people you work with know that you're together.

- Eventually moving into a house just outside of the city.

- Finding out you're pregnant and Eddie get a little nervous.

     -"Eddie I'm 99% sure that I am pregnant with your child."

     - "Right okay, just give me a minute."

     - *Proceeds to disappear for several hours leaving you nervous and upset.*

     - "I got this for the baby, you know just to make sure it has good taste." *Produces a tiny Black sabbath t-shirt*

- Him being so caring and happy once you have the baby.

     - "Are you sure you're okay princess?"

     - "Look y/n, he/she's  smiling at me."

     -"Daddy's your favourite yeah, not stinky mummy."

- They're literally inseparable and you love having Dustin and Robin over for babysitting because they're the cool aunt/uncle. 

- But no matter what Steve is single-handedly the best babysitter out of all your friends and would look after the child at least once a month so you and Eddie can go out on dates.

- Eddie threatening to beat the crap out of your child's bully when they reach middleschool.

     - "Honey, he's a child you cannot hit him."

     - "They're a little shit they deserve it."

     - "Eddie!"

- Watching the kid go on there first date but not without you giving a threatening 'don't you dare hurt my child' speech taht totally embarrass them.

- Watching late night tv with Eddie and joking about how you were the same when you were kids.

- Reminiscing on the highschool days

- Eddie get overly emotional when your child goes off to college.

     -"I'm so proud princess. They did it, they actually did it."

     -"I know honey, I know."

- You ending up in a nursing home when your older with Eddie and its kinda like the notebook but you don't have dementia and its just all happy.

- He's still play his guitar and play the songs he wrote for you back when you were teenagers

- You'd still tease him for things he did before you dated.

- Eddie dying first and it absolutely crushing you.

- But simultaneously being glad that he was the first to go because you know that your death would have destroyed him but you could find ways of surviving through the grief of losing him.
