Andromeda's POV
"So what will you be doing this summer?" Pansy asks as I chill with her, Draco, Theo and Blaise. Crabbe and Goyle went looking for the snack cart. Hermione is with the Weasley twins, Ginny, Harry and Ron.
"Don't know, our parents haven't planned a trip away to my knowledge" I state. "Have you heard anything Draco?" I ask him.
"I think mum mentioned something about France Pyrenees in a letter" he tells me. I frown in confusion. Why would we go there? We usually stay near Paris when we visit France. So that mum and I could shop.
"What would you do there?" Blaise asks.
"Go camping?" Theo asks and we all laugh. Though I wouldn't mind going on a camping trip. It was not my family's thing. Maybe I could go camping with aunt Andromeda and her family.
"What are you thinking about sister?" Draco asks me curious.
"Nothing important" I tell him. "I'm gonna go use the loo, be right back" I tell them before leaving. I go to my friends compartment and I see the twins look like their birthday and Christmas came early. "What's got them so happy?" I ask as I sit by Hermione.
"Ginny just told us that Percy has a girl friend" Harry answers.
"Oh" I say. "Any plans for the summer?" I ask.
"My family is going to France" Hermione states.
"Mine might be too, maybe we could go shopping?" I suggest.
"I'd love that" she states.
"Well you're all invited to visit whenever" Ron tells us.
"You know I'll be coming" Harry tells him.
"Anyone fancy a game of Exploding Snap?" the twins ask.
"I gotta run, I lied about where I was going" I tell them. "Have to get back before they send a search party" I state. "Have a nice summer" I add and they wish me one before I left. I returned to my compartment.
"What took you so long?" Pansy asks.
"There was a line" I lie. The rest of the trip passed by quickly. We arrived at the station and got off with our luggage. "Strange, wasn't Dobby collecting us?" I ask Draco.
"That's what I heard, he's never late" he states confused.
"Draco, Andromeda!" mum calls. We head over to her. Each giving her a hug.
"Where's Dobby? I thought he was collecting us" I ask.
"Dobby is no longer in our employment, I'll explain later" she states. She makes our luggage disappear along with our pets. Before holding her arms out to us. We take one each and she disapparates to our home. Only our family can apparate onto the manor grounds.
"See you guys later" Draco says before leaving. No doubt going to his room.
"Se you at dinner mum" I say.
"Wait Andromeda, your father wishes to see you in his study" mum tells me. I frown in confusion. "Welcome home, see you at dinner" she adds kissing my forehead before leaving. I take a deep breath before going to my dad's study and knock on the door.
"Enter" he says and I do so. I see him with Professor Snape, Professor Dumbledore and a very tall woman.
"You asked to see me father" I say.
"Yes, come sit Andromeda" he tells me. I do so.
"What's this about dad?" I ask curious.
"About where your transfer" he states.
"What?!" I exclaim shocked. "I thought I was only going to transfer if I didn't beat Miss Granger in class" I state.
"Severus tells me your grades slipped while Miss Granger was petrified. Which means you didn't keep up your studies" he states.
"But I still did better then her" I state.
"Only because Miss Granger was petrified, you learnt more" Snape states. "But before then, you were tying or she was besting you in class" he adds. I look up at him feeling slightly betrayed. I thought he'd have my back after uniting me with my aunt and her family. So why would he tell my father about my grades?
"Your father has requested you be transferred to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic next year" Dumbledore sates.
"But on a trial basis" the tall woman states in a french accent. "I am the Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Madame Maxine" she tells me.
"Pleasure madame" I say. "What do you mean by a trial basis?" I ask confuse.
"It means, that you'll go there for a year. If your grades improve, you'll complete your schooling there. If it doesn't, you'll return to Hogwarts" Dumbledore explains.
"But no failing classes on purpose Andromeda, I will not have you embrace this family" father tells me.
"Promise I'll go back to Hogwarts if my grades don't improve?" I ask father.
"If you don't best Miss Granger, then yes. You have y word" he assures me.
"Ok, I'll do it" I state.
"Marvelous, I look forward to giving you and your mother a tour next week" Madame Maxine states. She bid us a good day and left by the floo network.
"Study hard Miss Malfoy, make Slytherin proud" Snape tells me before leaving also.
"I trust you'll represent Hogwarts well Miss Malfoy. Have a good year" Dumbledore tells me before leaving. As Draco appears.
"Dinner is ready" he tells us. We all go to the dining room. Where I remain silent as we ate dinner. Draco telling our parents about his year at Hogwarts. Once I ate, I went to my room and unpacked. Then got ready for bed before calling it an early night.
