Hogsmeade March 1995

Andromeda's POV

It's time for the next Hogsmeade visit. It's nice to have a break from studying for exams. Especially as Charlie said he'd be able to meet me in Hogsmeade for lunch. I had been asked by the others if I wanted to meet Sirius. Who'd they be meeting. But I declined. I gave them a letter though to give to him from me. As I haven't written to him much this year and wanted to catch him up on how I am doing.

Not much has happened since the second task. Aside form studying and lessons. Hanging out with my friends. Rita Skeeter did release another article though. Claiming Harry is heartbroken as Hermione is 'dating' Viktor now. Which isn't true. Though we do wonder how she knew the Viktor had asked Hermione to visit him over the summer. As she wasn't there when it happened and I was the only one Hermione had told. And I told no one.

Anyway, it's time for Hogsmeade. I left before the others. As they put some food together for Sirius. Ginny and Neville went down with me. Once we reached Hogsmeade. We went our separate ways. I headed for the Three Broomsticks, where I'd agreed to meet Charlie.

"Miss Malfoy" Skeeter says appearing in front of me. "I wonder if I could have a word" she states.

"You cannot, now please step aside" I tell her.

"It won't take but a moment" she tells me.

"She asked you to step aside" a male voice growls. It was Mad-eye.

"Very well" Rita says backing down.

"Thank you Professor Moody" I say grateful. Before continuing on my way. I reach the Three Broomsticks and see Charlie there already. "Sorry I'm late" I tell him.

"Not at all, I'm early" he tells me. "I got us each a butterbeer" he adds holding up two cups. I smile and we find a table. "How have you been?" he asks me.

"Rita Skeeter is still sticking her nose into other peoples business and writing lies about my friends. She just tried to ambush me, luckily Mad-eye was there" I tell him.

"That woman, you know one day all her lies are gonna bite her in the arse" he tells me. I giggle.

"So how is work?" I ask him.

"It's going well. The Chinese Fire Ball eggs have started to hatch and are doing well" he tells me.

"That's amazing" I tell him.

"You know, if you ever wanted to see them. You could come to Romania" he suggests. "Maybe this summer?" he asks.

"I'd really like that, but I have to ask my aunt and uncle" I tell him.

"Right, I sometimes forget you are till in school" he mutters.

"Which is why we're just friends, for now" I tell him.

"For now" he says with a smile.

"My anscetors would be rolling in their graves right now" I tell him.

"Same with mine" he states with a chuckle.

"My dad disowned me you know" I tell him.

"Really?" he asks shocked.

"Yes, it happened when I ran away from home. To go live with my aunt and uncle" I state. "I still talk to mum and Draco. But I miss being able to see them whenever I wanted" I tell him. "Though we have never seen eye to eye, he is my dad and I love him" I state.

"I'm sorry you have to go through this" he tells me.

"I would have had to leave them anyway" I tell him.

"Why?" he asks me.

"What do you know about his followers?" I ask him.

"Other then them all being criminals and most of them being slytherins. Not much, but I know they all bared his mark" he states.

"They did, and it faded when he was defeated by Harry. But..." I stop talking. Biting my lip nervously.

"But?" he asks me.

"The marks his followers have, they are getting darker" I tell him.

"Why would they be getting darker?" he asks me. Then gasps. "He's getting stronger?" he asks me lowly.

"That's the theory, and it was clear even before I left my family I wasn't like them. So my mum was gonna send me away if he ever returned for my own safety" I tell him.

"At least your mum cares" he states.

"So does Draco" I tell him. "And I like to think my father cares. I mean I am his only girl" I state.

"Why don't we discuss something else?" he suggests.

"Like what?" I ask him curious.

"Like what happens once you graduate?" he suggests.

"Well I would like to be a healer or dragon tamer" I tell him.

"You could become a qualified healer and come to Romania. I could teach you how to be a dragon tamer and you could help tend to the wounds at the sanctuary" he states.

"And you asking me to come to Romania has nothing to do with your need to see me more often?" I ask with a teasing smile.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss you and wished I could see you more" he tells me.

"Once I graduate, if it's still what we both want. We could make things more official" I tell him.

"Like going public?" he asks.

"Yes" I say.

"I like the sound of that" he states. He looks at the time and sighs. "I gotta get back to the sanctuary. It's nearly dinner time for the dragons" he explains.

"I should head back and continue with my studies" I tell him. "After all, exams are coming up" I state. We say our goodbyes and go our separate ways. I started walking back to the castle, while he disapparated to Romania.
