Fight with Draco

Andromeda's POV

"How do I look?" Draco asks me. I look up to see him in his new quidditch robes with his Nimbus 2001. His hair slicked back as usual.

"You look good" I tell him.

"I'm going for my first quidditch practice, want to come watch?" he asks me.

"You won't take no for an answer will you?" I ask him as I fold up the finished letter.

"You're right" he states.

"Ok, I'll send this off to mum and meet you at the pitch" I tell him. He smiles and leaves with the rest of the team. I go to the owlery. I call Odette down and she lands on my arm. "For mum" I say handing her the letter. She coos happily and takes off.

I then start to make my way down to the pitch. Even though I don't follow quidditch, this means a lot to Draco. So I'll be there to support him.

But as I arrive at the pitch. I see a sea of red and green. I frown I thought Slytherin had booked the pitch, why is the gryffindor team here? I stay in the shadows trying to figure out what's going on. I notice Ron and Hermione are also present, no doubt to watch Harry. Could there of been a mess up with the pitch schedule?

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent" Hermione states.

"No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood" Draco sneers. I growl, how dare he call my best friend that. Ron tries to curse him, but his spell back fires due to his broken wand. He starts to vomit up slugs.

The Slytherin team were paralyzed with laughter. Flint was doubled up, hanging onto his new broomstick for support. Draco was on all fours, banging the ground with his fist. The Gryffindors were gathered around Ron. Nobody seemed to want to touch him.

I draw my wand. "Melofors" I say pointing it at Draco and his head turns into a pumpkin. This time Gryffindor laugh as Harry and Hermione escort Ron away. I put my wand away and stalk off unnoticed as Slytherin gather around my brother.

I go to the astronomy tower to be alone. Since it's a weekend and I've already completed my homework. I decide to relax looking up at the clouds while sitting on the edge of the balcony.

(Time skip)

I don't know how long I've been up here. But I am hungry, so I think I've missed lunch. I decide to go to the kitchens to get some food. When I hear someone enter the room. "There you are Andromeda, you never came to the pitch. You won't believe what those rotten gryffindors did to me" Draco whines.

I glare at him once I was standing. "What has your wand in a twist?" he asks me confused.

"Leave me alone Draco, unless you want another pumpkin on your head" I sneer.

"It was you? Why?" he asks me shocked.

"You insulted my best friend" I snap.

"What? The mudb..." he starts to say and I draw my wand.

"Langlock" I say and his tongue sticks to the roof of his mouth. "You dare insult my sister from another mother again. I'll hex you, I don't care if you are my brother" I snap. "Now leave me alone until you apologize to Hermione" I add before leaving him in the tower.

I decide to search for Hermione. I find her in the library studying and approach her cautiously. "Hermione" I say and she looks up. I notice she'd been crying and snarl. "I'm sorry about my idiotic brother. I jinxed him and currently not talking to him. He had not right to call you that" I tell her.

"You didn't have to do that, I don't want you to fight with him because of me" she tells me.

"Your my sister from another mother. Sisters before brothers" I tell her with a smile. "Besides, he needs to learn right from wrong. If our parents won't teach him right, I will" I state. "Anyway, how's Ron?" I ask her.

"Still vomiting up slugs" she mutters. "He has to wait for them to stop on their own" she states. I nod my head and find a book to read. We read in silence, while she does her homework. Though I'm surprised she hasn't finished it already.
