‘So how was school?’ Y/N’s mother asked her that afternoon in the living room. She was sitting on the couch looking through some maid schedules.

‘Mom no,’ Y/N shook her head. ‘I’m not going to say a thing because you don’t listen. You just nod your head and say “mmm-hmm”’

‘Mmm-hmm,’ Ms. Park answered absentmindedly as predicted.

Y/N rolled her eyes. ‘I want to go and have pizza but I don’t even know any pizza place. I miss having pizza with my friends.’ she sighed.

Ms. Park nodded and walked out of the living room, not bothering to comment on her daughter’s pizza place issue. She was just not focusing, but Y/N was used to that.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Woochan didn’t wait for a response, he simply walked in with his script rolled up in his hand.

‘Hey you,’ he greeted her and sat next to her. ‘Congrats on getting the lead role.’

‘Thanks.’ Y/N replied. ‘So which brother are you looking for? Should I get one of the maids to…?’

‘Today I’m looking for you!’ Woochan cut her. ‘Let’s start rehearsals. How fast are you at memorizing scripts?’

‘Very fast.’

‘Me too,’ Woochan replied as he unrolled his script. ‘Let’s take it from the top. Is this your first time acting?’

‘No,’ Y/N shook her head as she also grabbed her script which was on the couch. ‘Actually I was in the drama club at my old school, I’ve been in like ten plays.’

‘Twelve for me.’ he slightly bragged.

‘Impressive!’ she commented excitedly. ‘You seem to take acting really seriously.’

‘Yeah,’ he nodded, ‘I wanna be an actor after I graduate.’

Y/N almost couldn’t believe it, they were so similar. ‘Me too! I wanna be an actress too!’

‘Hey we’re pretty similar, we should talk about it over pizza one day?’

She placed a hand on her forehead in disbelief. ‘No way, I was actually thinking about pizza places…I love pizza!’

‘Are we soulmates or what?’ Woochan laughed and looked seriously at his script, then started to read it. ‘Gracie, your voice is beautiful, but you…you are mesmerizing.’ he looked straight at her after he had finished reading his line.

Y/N also looked down at her script. ‘I’m just your back up singer, you’re the real star of the show. Those are your songs…’

‘Shh,’ Woochan placed a finger on her lips, as per the script. ‘They’re not my songs, they’re yours, because I wrote them…thinking of you.’

Y/N blushed feeling his finger on her lips. Meanwhile, the other boys were about to come down the stairs but had decided to listen in to the conversation instead. They stood somewhere at the top of the staircase, hidden from both Woochan and Y/N.

‘Eww, get me a bucket, I need to throw up.’ James was the first to comment to his brothers after he had heard the conversation.
