Nia is sobbing, the sound of Tony talking in the background barely heard over her sobs. Vincent does the best he can to get her to calm down.

"I want to leave." She whispers. Vincent nods, helping her stand as he helps her out the room. She shrinks back when the person tries to reach for her as they pass him. They're halfway to the door when a voice makes her stop.

You can go the distance, you can run the mile

You can walk straight through hell with a smile

She turns to the person watching him stand there with tears in his eyes. He doesn't blink as he continues to sing.

You can be a hero, you can get the gold

Breakin' all the records they thought never could be broke (Yeah)

She groans putting a hand on the side of her head as the pain gets worse.

- A younger version of the person in front of you is somehow swinging with you around buildings. She laughs as she holds on right, flipping and spinning around the city.

Do it for your people, do it for your pride

How you ever gonna know if you never even try?

-she sits at the piano while he's on the floor, working on homework. Song after song day after day she stays there with him playing music as he studies or works.

- You're an avenger now. This is definitely your song!" She tells him one day, knowing he's nervous and unsure of himself. .

" Do it for your country, do it for your name

'Cause there's gon' be a day, when you're-"

She walks closer to him as memory clashes with reality, his voice being echoed by the one in her head. She unknowingly hums with him as he continues to sing.

Standin' in the Hall of Fame (Yeah)

And the world's gonna know your name (Yeah)

'Cause you burn with the brightest flame (Yeah)

Both are crying as she stands in front of him, her hand shaking as she reaches out to touch him. A flash of a candle with the number 16 sitting in front of the man flashes in her head. He's not 16 anymore. She sobs touching his curly hair that's slightly unruly and cupping his face.

"Arañito?" She whispers softly. He stares at her nodding his head."Oh my god Peter!"

She pulls him close as they continue to sob neither letting go for a few minutes.

"Oh my god look at you. You're...you're all grown up." He nods as he continues to cry cupping her face. "Oh my god! Peter! How could I have forgotten you?"

After some time both calm down enough to look around, everyone just staring at them. She holds her hand out to Vincent bringing him in closer.

"This is Peter. Mi Arañito."

"Your spider. The one you always dreamed about." He says in surprise.

"I'm sorry dreamed about?" Tony asks. They all have questions but they don't know where to start.

"I use to dream of a little red and blue spider. Was always with me and we went everywhere. I'd sing to it and it would make intricate webs for me to look at. It confused us," she says motioning to Vincent and Damien. "But we thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me. But it's not! It's you." She grabs Peter's face trying not to sob again.

"I'm so confused." Peter says softly.

"She lost her memory." Vincent explains "she barely remembers anyone. Small things are popping up and since Tony and Bruce tried to help her she seems to only remember you and Loki."

Peter laughs softly, a hint of pink on his cheeks. "Yeah, Loki makes sense."

She stares at him wide eyes at the fact that he knows...something about her and Loki. He winks, helping her to stand up. She spends the next few minutes explaining to him everything that's happened, well almost everything. She turns, smiling when she hears paws hitting the ground. Parker runs straight for them, making Peter laugh as he slides across the floor.

"Peter...meet Parker." She says letting Parker.

"You named him Parker?" Peter says in a choked voice.

"Before we tried to help her." Tony says. "Even without her full memories she kept you close, kid."

"What?" She asked, confused what's going on. "We were close?"

Peter nods staring at her, ""Yeah. We practically became inseparable. You would pick me up from school-"

"I took two people with me once...because you had a bully...no one believed you knew us...so I went to get you."

Nia smiles at him, memories slowly entering her mind like molasses.

The next day the Avengers called a meeting with everyone. Nia arrived last with Damien, Sam, Bucky and Vincent. Nia tightens her hand around Sams when she notices Milo. Sam slyly looks down at her noticing the rigid way she holds herself. He follows her gaze to the newcomer who has a look of possession in his eyes that makes him uncomfortable. He slyly caught Bucky and Nat's eyes and they slightly nodded letting him know they noticed too. They move her to the other side of the room so she can see everyone but he couldn't see her. When she notices how far from Milo she is she lets out a sigh of relief.

"Now that everyone's here we have some updates." Tony says standing at the head of the table next to Luke.

"Is her memory back?" Milo interrupts smugly.

"We're working on it." Tony says gruffly side eyeing the kid.

"Luke, your time is up. She belongs back on the island." Nia stiffens, reaching for Bucky's hand for comfort barely noticing how stiff and unforgiving his hand is in her fear.

"Enough Milo." Luke says harshly. "I've talked to the Elders. Vincent and Damien are to stay here." Luke says sternly when Milo tries to interject himself. Derek nods stiffly knowing he can't fight the order. "We leave tonight."

"Tonight?" She says standing up in a panic. "Not tonight. Do you have to go tonight?"

"Piccolina..." Luke says softly.

Nia starts to shake, "You-you don't have to leave. Please don't leave me."

She continually pleads with Luke, her shaking getting worse. Damien walks up to her, placing his hand on her neck. She relaxes, her eyes fluttering shut. Loki stands next to him, walking with him to the other room once she's asleep.

Wanda turns sharply to Milo sneering at him.

"She's slowly remembering...right there she remembered. So back. Off." Milo glares at her before turning to Luke.

"Say you're goodbyes. I don't want to be here longer than necessary." He storms out of the room headed to the jet where he'll wait for everyone.

"She remembered?" Nat asks softly, exhaling when Wanda nods.

"She remembered being in a cell...begging Loki not to leave her."
