"Hey Doll." Bucky croaks out.

"Bucky." She says with a smile sitting up. He had been asleep for two days because of his injuries. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm good." He says with a smile, grabbing her hand.

"Good." She says leaning forward to kiss his cheek. He lifts his metal hand to cup her cheek, pulling her a little bit closer to kiss her. She closes her eyes leaning into him with a sigh as they kiss. He pulls back from her slowly.

"I-I know you don't remember," he tells her softly rubbing his thumb along her cheek. "But I uh-I love you. And even if you don't...I want to stay here with you...on the island."

"What?" She whispers.

"I want to stay wherever you are." He whispers, pressing his forehead against hers.

"But the team?"

"They'll be fine without me."

She puts her hand over his, "Bucky I don't-"

"I get you have a thing with Loki-"

"What?" She says with a small laugh.

"But give me a chance? Let me stay here and if nothing happens-"

"Bucky," she says laughing cupping his face. "Loki and I are friends."

"What?" She nods her head still looking at him.

"I-oh." He says. She pushes his side a bit, climbing onto the bed next to him. She lays her head on his chest with a smile.

"You can stay if you want."

Nia grabs her guitar, strumming random notes while they wait for the 20 families to show up. 11 are more descendants or older family members still alive while the 9 families of the children under 18 are still held together. It was easy to feel the nerves with all of them. 9 of the 11 kids waiting for their older family members stood with their own families; adopted parents, partners, kids. The 9 children stood clustered together holding each other. Nia tries to calm them down but she can't. One of the older kids walks towards her, asking for the guitar. When she hands it over the kids between 17-10 sit down next to Nia as he plays the guitar. Nia smiles, huddling with the children as she hears the familiar notes of Jimmy Eat Worlds Hear Me Now. The children start to sing, looking at Nia with a smile. There's no one in town I know

You gave us some place to go

The 11 older children smile joining in.

I never said thank you for that

I thought I might get one more chance

What would you think of me now?

Nia joins in with a smile on her face, seeing a figure watching from a cliff nearby.

So lucky, so strong, so proud?

I never said thank you for that

Now I'll never have a chance

She nods her head towards the figure, knowing in her heart it's Luke.

May angels lead you in

Hear you me, my friends

On sleepless roads, the sleepless go

May angels lead you in

So what would you think of me now?

So lucky, so strong, so proud

I never said thank you for that

Now I'll never have a chance
