"Why are you d-drowning Debbie?" Kai asked "can I try?" Carl asked "No Carl you have cancer." Frank sighed Kai turned to Carl "You have cancer?" Kai questioned in shock
"Pack your bags. We're leaving." Frank demanded "Bye, Shit Head." Kai smiled "Bye." Carl muttered before pulling the girl into a hug "Thank you for being my best friend."
Kai wasn't used to people hugging her, she hugged them most of the time given the fact she wasn't given any physical affection as a toddler.
"Thank you to I guess." Kai muttered hugging him back. Kai had ended up figuring out that Mandy was right Carl was the only person Kai let hug her.
"I'll see you in a week, shit show." Carl smiled before walking away
At school, Kai sat at a table as she did her math work. "I heard her dad has sex with Ms Bryce." A small boy whispered
Kai only sighed and shook her head continuing with her work. "I mean have you seen her house it looks like a crack house." A girl smirked.
Kai's breaths got heavier as she began to write harder before hearing on sentences that broke her. "She just like her mom."
The girl jumped slightly as the pencil broke in her hand. Kai raised her hand. "C-c-ca-can." Kai stopped herself "Can. I. Go. T-to the bathroom?"
"Yeah." The teacher smiled Kai nodded and stood up.
Outside a house, Hayley and Mandy sat on the steps "So your Half sister." Hayley started. "She's just waiting for your dad to pick her up?"
"Milwaukee." Mandy muttered passing the blunt over to Hayley. "He gonna do it?" Hayley questioned "No." Mandy replied
"It's not my place but you think you should tell her he's not coming." Hayley suggested "no call answers the question just as good as a call does." Mandy chuckled
"Alright." Hayley sighed not wanting to over step her place.
Mandy laid her head on Hayley's shoulder. "I really like you." Mandy whispered "I really like you to." Hayley smiled.
In the school bathroom, Kai washed her hands before looking at the mirror seeing Holly Herkimer who was Ian's age but still in the same grade as Kai.
"What do you want?" Kai whispered "your dad is a whore." Holly spat "tell me something I don't know." Kai mumbled grabbing a paper towel before Holly grabbed the girl and threw her onto the ground.
"What the hell?" Kai yelled "your dad fucked my mom!" Holly yelled forcing the small girl to stand up.
"It's not my fault your moms a whore." Kai smirked before a another girl grabbed her hair a pulled her. "Shit!"
Kai groaned as Holly kicked Kai in the stomach. "Stop." Kai grunted before Holly grabbed the girls chin and punched her.
Kai kicked Holly in the stomach "You ugly bitch!" The other girl yelled punching Kai again.
