When Kai woke up she was in the same position she was in when she fell asleep, in Carl's arms.

The girl looked up at Carl, he looked so peaceful but he also did looked stressed and maybe that stress was from Kai.

"Morning Kai." Nick smiled standing up. Nick had developed a friendship with the Milkovich and in all honesty he gave the best hugs.

"Good morning Nick." Kai greeted as she sat up, "Carl get up." Kai whispered turning back to the Gallagher boy.

Carl groaned before opening his eyes. "I don't wanna go to school." Carl complained before he got up.

"So you're selling guns?" Kai asked walking down the stairs with Carl and Nick.  "you guys can keep the drug business." Carl smiled before handing Kai a coffee.

"I don't like coffee." Kai mumbled looking up at the boy. "I know it's not coffee it's hot chocolate Kai." Carl smirked walking to the fridge.

"Thank you." Kai whispered so low Carl didn't even hear her.

"Where'd all this come from?" Fiona asked coming down stairs "Carl brought Froot Loops." Liam announced sitting next to Kai.

"And cage free, organic eggs and juice with the pulp in it." Carl added "eat up, little homie."

"I hate pulp." Kai admitted very hung over as she drank the hot chocolate.

"Where are you getting all this money?" Fiona asked "Juvie Job. Saved up." Carl answered

"You better not be seeking drugs again, Carl." Fiona sighed "Nope, no drugs. I learned my lesson. That's Kai's thing Carl explained a smirk on his face as he sat next to Kai

"Better watch out if she doesn't like what your doing she might try to fire you form the family. Surprised she didn't fire Hayls for leaving." Ian smirked

"Yeah, or try to force you to get an abortion." Debbie added.  "smells good, bacon?" Shean asked "Froot loops." Liam smiled

"You coming to work." Sean asked "yeah, I just gotta get dressed and talk to debs." Fiona answered

"About what?" Debbie glared. Kai understood both sides, if Debbie wanted the baby it was her choices but most likely Debbie wouldn't handle it on her own and per usual Fiona would be dragged into the situation.

"I wanna apologize, okay?" Fiona sighed "I'm gonna go." Sean mumbled

"I'll meet you there." Fiona smiled giving Sean a kiss  "Oh, so you get to be late cause you're fucking the boss, right?" Ian asked

"Lip already got you a new job, so cut the shit." Fiona demanded glaring at her brother  "Carl, can you drop Liam at head start on your way to school?"

"Do I look like a babysitter?" Carl asked "no. You look like a criminal, but last I checked, you were still a Gallagher." Fiona remarked

"Fine." Carl sighed "Brothers gotta stick together. Let's go. Kai you need a ride?"

"Yeah." Kai muttered putting her cup in the sink and following after.

Kai stood by her locker staring at the bag of pills. "You okay Mal?" Tilly asked a concerned look on her face. "Yeah fine what's up?" Kai smiled nervously shutting her locker.
