"The fuck are you doing?" Carl asked walking into the window. "What are you doing here?" Kai questioned narrowing her eyes at the boy.
"If you must know I'm trying to find something to wear." She explained putting a dress on "I look like a fucking box." She took the dress off annoyed
Carl looked down at all the dresses on the ground "is it that big of a deal?" Carl asked "say that again and I will throw you out the window." Kai threatened grabbing a beer from the fridge.
"I thought you weren't drinking." Carl stated a frown on his face. "It's one beer." Kai scoffed putting another dress on.
"That's the one." Carl muttered getting up and walking closer to the girl"you look hot."
Kai took a step back feeling slightly uncomfortable "Thank you." Kai mumbled "you got a date to the wedding?" Carl questioned
"Taking Fred." Kai muttered her eyes on the suitcase under her bed. "Why's your room so empty?" Carl questioned "redecorating." Kai lied turning away from the boy.
"you got an ironing bored?" Carl asked "yep in my closet." Kai answered Carl grabbing his shirt
"You want me to do it?" Kai asked "Nah its all right." Carl muttered "Are you wearing colonel?" Kai asked "yeah, is it a crime for me to wanna look good now that I got a girlfriend?" Carl smirked making Kai roll her eyes. "I'm joking."
"So you and dom are not together?" Kai scoffed changing into some shorts and a t-shirt. "Get out Carl."
"Kai come on." Carl sighed "it's not about that." Kai argued a smile on her face "Carl I'm happy for you I really am-I just-I have my own shit going on, I can't have my attention on you 24/7."
Carl only nodded feeling slightly relieved, "I want you to meet Dom." Carl announced making Kai turn around. "What?" Kai questioned
"You're my best friend Kai I want her to meet you." Carl explained "after the wedding?"
She wouldn't even be in Chicago after the wedding. "Y-yea-yeah okay a-after the wedding." Kai mumbled running a hand through her hair.
"You really like her?" Kai asked a small smile on her face. "Yeah I do." Carl laughed softly.
"Oh I officially dropped out." Kai announced grabbing a cigarette. "Shit seriously?" Carl asked tilting his head.
"I mean yeah it's not like I was really learning anything." Kai scoffed "shit Dom's waiting for me outside." Carl mumbled going to the window. "I'll see you at the wedding." Carl smiled climbing out the room.
Kai only frowned staring at the window. None of what she did today mattered because in a few hours she wouldn't even live in Chicago.
"Guess who got booze!" Fred yelled running into the girls room "are you shit faced?" Kai asked a big smile on her face
"I am." Fred smiled "Debbie invited me to the wedding what am I gonna do?" Tilly sighed dropping her body on the bed.
"Act like your happy about it." Fred mumbled grabbing chips from Kai's fridge. "I am happy but still." Tilly frowned
"Look just don't think into it too much." Kai smiled softly blowing out smoke. "You packed?" Fred asked causing the room to go silent.
"Yeah." Kai mumbled a frown now on her face. "Nothing we can do to convince you to stay?" Tilly asked sitting cris cross.
