Summary: Fiona decides to make some changes as Frank
attempts to make amends. The diner gets some
surprise visitors while Kevin has a startling discovery. Fred and Kai got to pick up Tilly.

Kai Milkovich walked around her house a toothbrush in her mouth as she looked for a shirt. The girl had cut her bangs and she had grown a few inches.

"God damnit." Kai groaned taking the toothbrush out her mouth, throwing a dirty shirt into the laundry bin. "Kev I'm taking one of your shirts!" The girl called out grabbing one of Kevin's plain black t-shirts.

She quickly walked back over to the sink spitting out the toothpaste. As time went on Kai had gotten a lot better, her urges for drugs and beer had almost gone away surely from time to time she craved it but it wasn't bad as before. She got a good job at the motorcycle shop while also still working part time at the bar with Svetlana.

Kai put her toothbrush back in its holster and began brushing her hair when she heard the door open. "Kai!" A voice announced, the girl put her brush back and walked downstairs.

"You down to run to work today?" Lip asked grabbing a water from the fridge. "It's like 6 am dude why are you awake-and that's-that's like 6 miles Lip." Kai stated staring at the man slightly confused.

"I woke up feeling like a drink." Lip said letting out a small sigh, Kai nodded slowly understanding the sudden distraction Lip needed. "All right fuck it, be good to get my steps in." Kai grinned, "race you." Kai smirked running out the house.

"No fair!" Lip called out running after Kai, the girl only laughed as she continued running clearly ahead of the boy.

Almost an hour later Lip and Kai arrived at the shop. Kai had gotten a lot better at her job and had even gotten a raise two months after working.

"Kai we got a new one." Eddie announced giving the girl a small wink. Kai simply rolled her eyes, ever since Kai had begun working Eddie had teased her whenever any boys around her age would come in.

"Hey how can i help you?" Kai asked putting the rag over her shoulder as she walked over to the man. "Hey I was just wondering how much it would be to get some new rims on my bike." A young boy spoke looking up from his phone.

The boy had shaggy blond hair and blue eyes, he was fairly tall and he wore a t-shirt with shorts. "Um let me check that out. What type of rims are you looking for?" Kai asked grabbing a binder from under the table.

"32 inch Harley." The boy replied, a polite smile on his face. Kai read through the paper trying to see if they even had those rims.

"Almost 6 thousand dollars each." Kai said slightly impressed that the boy even thought of those rims for his bike. "Not a problem." The boy shrugged.

"You got a name?" Kai asked looking up, "Murphy. And you?"The boy asked

"Kai." The girl replied narrowing her eyes at the boy as a snug look appeared on his face. "You got a number Kai?"

Kai let out a small laugh running a hand through her hair. "Maybe I do." Kai nodded slowly tilting her head.

Lip watched the two cautiously, just by the look on the boys face he didn't trust him. "Let's finish talking about the rims for your bike and then maybe we can take about my number." Kai suggested
