A week, Kai hasn't done drugs in a week she wished she could say the same about alcohol but hey it was a start.

"Malachi you hungry?" Svetlana asked as Kai walked downstairs. "Ye-y-Yeah." Kai smiled grabbing a beer from the fridge.

"No beer with eggs." Svetlana stated taking the beer away from Kai. "Okay then." Kai frowned as Svetlana handed her a plate of eggs.

"Thanks." Kai mumbled before Carl walked into the house. "H-he-Hey." Kai smiled her mood changing a bit.

"Hey Kai." Carl greeted, he noticed that the girl had been fidgeting a lot more then usual along with stutter the boy thought it was cause she was taking to many drugs but it was actually cause she wasn't taking any drugs.

"You doing anything today?" Carl asked ignoring the glare that Svetlana was giving him.

"I was gonna go visit Mi-Mm-Mickey later." Kai explained eating the egg sandwich Svetlana made her.

"Oh." Carl frowned slightly "do-do you wanna come we could go out t-to eat after." Kai suggested noticing the boys frown.

Usually Kai was a lot more confident when taking to Carl but the more time passed the more she realized that it was the drugs that made her confident.

"Yeah okay." Carl grinned before asking "okay if Nick tags along?"

"He's always welcomed." Kai reassured grabbing her bag before turning to Svetlana. "Thanks for the food Lana."

"Malachi remember to tell your brother the next job." Svetlana called out as Kai shut the door.

"Job?" Carl questioned "oh people pay us for Mickey to hurt people in prison." Kai explained as Carl and Nick got in the car.

When Kai arrived at the prison she told Carl and Nick to stay in the car,

"Hey Mickey." Kai greeted putting the phone to her ear. "hey shithead." Mickey smiled "you look good Kai healthy."

"You're the only one who thinks so." Kai mumbled "everyone thinks I'm being weird."

"I know what you're going through it's the same shit mom went through when she stopped taking drugs." Mickey said

Kai didn't know much about her mother but she hated her, she hated Laura for reasons that weren't even her fault.

"I haven't taken drugs in a week." Kai said feeling relived to get it off her chest. "That's fucking amazing Kai." Mickey laughed

"I really miss talking to you Mickey." Kai admitted "I miss you to Shit head." Mickey sighed

"15 years is a long time." Kai sighed dropping her head. "Come on Kai we both know how long I'll really be in here." Mickey smirked "and you'll be the first to know when I'm out."

"I love you Mickey." Kai smiled before hearing a buzz sound. "I love you to shit head." Mickey sighed before standing up.

A few hours later, "So we went to the bank." Fiona started "And the house is being sold at auction. But there's a chance that we could buy it. So, for the first time, ever, it would be our house. Not aunt Ginger's, not Patrick's."
