Kai sat on a chair coloring when a girl began screaming. The girl looked up glancing at an 18 year old who was fighting the doctors.

"number 8 of the week." A teenage girl whispered taking a seat next to black haired girl.

"Aren't you getting out today little kid?" The girl asked Kai didn't say anything only continued drawing.

Kai glanced down at the bandages around her wrists "they ever get the guy that hurt you?" Melissa Williams asked

And like always Kai said nothing, when she woke up in the hospital they had done a rape kit on her, Kai being mute couldn't tell them.

"Come on it's been a year and you haven't said a word." Melissa groaned. Melissa Williams had been diagnosed with OCD along with the fact she was a pathological liar. "come on I want to here your voice at least once."

Kai only stared at the 16 year old giving her a small smile.  "fine I give up." Melissa smiled before putting a bunch of pills on the table.

"Going away gift." Melissa giggled Kai grabbed the pills "you know it would've been nice to hear your voice." Melissa muttered a smile on her face

"Hey you remember how to clean the bandages?" Melissa asked the black haired girl only nodded. "Good don't need that shit to get infected."

Kai smiled before seeing the doctor. "Have fun out there Little Kid." Melisa smiled

"Milkovich." The doctor announced Kai held the pills in her hand as she walked out the door.

"Remember to change the bandages." The doctor begged a few weeks ago Kai had cut herself with the soda can really badly.

Kai walked out the hospital when she saw her brother. "Hey." Mickey smiled Kai didn't say anything only got in the car putting her hood over her head.

"You mute again?" Mickey asked as he drove once again Kai said nothing. "Terry went to jail for some shit he's not home anymore." Mickey said "you want me to drop you off at the Gallagher's?" Mickey asked again no reply.

Mickey sighed as he began driving to the Gallagher house.

"It was so bad." Kai whispered her voice sounding hoarse. Mickey only nodded wanting nothing more than to hug the teenager.

Mickey failed, he failed Mandy and at the moment he was failing Kai as well. There were only a few things that Mickey actually loved and his sisters were at the top of his list along with a ginger Gallagher.

Hayley sat at the table eating cereal when she rolled her eyes "you have no dignity do you?" Hayley asked her younger brother fake gaging.

"There's a toilet down there. Mrs. Babiak doesn't need any antonym lessons." Fiona sighed "Mrs. Babiak's got my 18th birthday circled on her calendar." Carl smirked

"Use the toilet like a human." Hayley begged washing her plate "can I have lips old room? Or Hayley's ?" Carl asked "Ian is taking Hayls room when he gets back and Lip is at college." Fiona explained "Seriously, cut the shit with the nature whizzing."
