Kai dialed a number walking back and fourth, "answer the god damn phone come on." Kai mumbled running a hand through her hair. "Kai?" Mandy Milkovich questioned

"Has anyone called you?" Kai asked sitting on the bed her leg bouncy up and down. "What do you mean has anyone called me?" Mandy asked worried.

"An-any unknown nu-numbers Mandy." Kai clarified letting out a deep breath. "Your freaking me out Kai what's going on?" Mandy asked bringing the phone closer to her ear,

"Mickey escaped prison yesterday some cops came looking for me to see if I've talked to him." Kai explained, "shit." Mandy whispered trying to think back to yesterday.

"If he calls just let me know okay? I'll do the same." Kai mumbled letting out a sigh, "okay just don't stress yourself out over it." Mandy begged

"I won't I promise." Kai reassured shaking her head as she dropped her body on her bed. "I uh called your school they agreed to let you do your courses online." Mandy announced

"Yeah that's good I should at least try to graduate." Kai mumbled staring at the stars on her ceiling. "How are you?" Mandy asked, the two knew that they each missed each other deeply but neither of them would admit it.

"I'm okay." Kai admitted, "I'm happy to be with Tilly and Fred. I missed Kev a lot but Veronica is still mad at me, I don't think she's ever gonna forgive me."

"Well you're 18 so fuck what she thinks." Mandy smirked making Kai laugh. "So I talked to Kev." Mandy started making Kai's eyebrows furrow. "Maybe you could come back and live with me, like a few moments with Kev and a few months with me."

A small smile appeared on Kai's face, the situation was basically like a five year old with divorced parents only difference was instead of parents it was her sister and a man she loved like a father also along with the fact that Kai was 18 years old.

"Yeah I'd like that." Kai smiled before the door opened reveling Veronica and Kev who both had nervous looks on their faces. "I'll call you back later okay Mandy?"

"I love you shit head don't get into anymore trouble." Mandy smiled before the line went dead. "What's going on?" Kai asked looking at Kev and V.

"We did something illegal." Kev started letting out a shaky breath as he sat next to Kai who had a worried look on her face. "I did something illegal." Veronica corrected

"We thought we were signing papers to adopt Yevgeny but we signed papers to make Svetlana the owner of the alibi." Veronica explained

"W-well you couldn't have done that 50% of the alibi is mine." Kai stated her voice sounding cold. "I forged your signature Kai." Veronica announced

Kai bit the inside of her cheek trying to calm herself but she couldn't anymore. "You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Kai yelled, "what the fuck Veronica!"

"Don't yell at me." Veronica said a serious look on her face. "No!" Kai shouted standing up, "you've been giving shit since I got back, you basically threatened to kick me out if I didn't pay rent, you fired my friends because you thought they had something to do with my running, and then you forged my fucking signature!"
