SAVE NATURE FOR A BETTER FUTURE
How did the green turn into brown?
How did the mountains with the color of a leaf,
Forests, hills, and meadows in town,
Now fades into the color of a reaped sheaf?
Since when did the forest have humans cut their hair,
Shaved them bald and built some buildings?
Gone were the tall trees and the fresh air,
Replaced by buildings and infrastructures built by human beings
Natural calamities are getting stronger.
Pollution is continuously worsening.
Earths temperature is getting warmer.
Wake up! Aint this already alarming?
How about you plant some trees in your backyard?
Or start with conserving water and energy for the better?
Caring for the environment isnt hard.
Simple ways, but significant changes, coming all together
We cant just wait for this planet to perish
For it is never too late to take action.
We can still rebuild its beauty and replenish
For in this life, there is no reset button.
