"Lost"

Looking back at that time,
We used to be in a chime
I held you tightly and seized the moment
But things just crooked, I wasn't even in ferment

I was lost and went blind
A thought of losing you never crossed my mind
I was too complacent and calm
Tears flowed as I stare at my empty palm

My grip has loosened, I was too clueless
I tried to find you, but I just came back emotionless
I was drowned into a deep, silent dark place
Unable to breathe and smile, like I was choked by a lace

My body can't move, it doesn't want to be in motion
Which made me hit by a big realization
It wasn't my pen, it wasn't my passion
It was me who was lost, I was lost by procrastination
