"I'm excited as well as sad" Jennie spoke while we're eating lunch.
More like an early lunch since it is yet 11am. We had just woke up after a long day yesterday, except for Jennie unnie who was kind enough to get up earlier to cook for us. Ain't she sweet?
"Right me too" I admitted while rubbing my eyes, that lacks sleep. I know I should've gotten enough rest now after sleeping for 9 hours, but that is if I had fallen asleep as fast as Lisa. No one knows I sat up until 5am just staring at her, as if memorizing her face, and forcing myself to sleep when the light started to peep in my room.
I sighed. Seven years is coming to an end. Seven long years with our blinks, staffs, and with each other. Well at most 11 to 13 years with each other. I sighed. Probably other years with certain people will also go to waste.
"I am excited for something else" Lisa commented out of the blue. We knitted our brows.
"What? You forgot it? What a shame! It's all I could think off since last week!" Lisa exclaimed but we are all still clueless.
Let's be honest, only the unnies forgot about it. I am aware of what my girlfriend is talking about, very aware at that, but I pretended to forget it as well, it eases my burden.
"Care to remind us maknae?" Jisoo teased.
"I can't believe you forgot it. Aren't we supposed to announce today which of the ships are real? That Chaeng and I are the ones dating each other and you two are the best of best friends?" she asked.
"Oh, that, my bad, yeah, I forgot about it. Guess we should thank you for reminding us. Are you ready to make Jensoo nation scream Jisoo?" Jennie playfully asked Jisoo who just rolled her eyes. I sighed. Here I go.
"Emm, I have a ... A request?" more like I asked a question. I'm nervous okay.
"What is that jagiya? You want our announcement to be special eh?" she asked me smiling. I hid a bitter smile.
"I.. uh, can we not do it? Can we skip the announcement?" I asked. All heads turned to me with questioning eyes.
"Why?" I noticed the sad tone in Lisa's voice.
"It's just.. uhm, you know, not everyone might agree with it... You know about the ship wars" I tried to reason.
"That's exactly why we're announcing it as we disband, we wouldn't be much affected by the blinks support and rage anymore" Jennie reasoned.
"As for the ship wars, well, this will be a good way to end those right? We'll let them know which is real and which ships should really sink now" Jisoo added laughing.
"Chaeng-ah, is there more reason you want to cancel our announcement?" Lisa asked me instead.
She might have read me that what I said was not exactly the real reason. Yes there is, but no way will I tell her, not now atleast, I think?
"I mean, you unnies can continue your announcement but Lisa, can we... Uh, cancel ours? Please...?" I looked at my girlfriend with pleading eyes. She furrowed her brows as she stared deep in my eyes. I know at this moment I can't stare back for long, eventually I bowed my head.
"Well, if you aren't announcing, then we won't be announcing anything at all" Jennie decided.
"Uh, I think atleast we should do announce the friendships. Atleast it will clear two to three things" Jisoo spoke.
"Which are?" Jennie asked teasing.
"First, of course the fans would know that Jensoo is real, as the best of all best friends" Jisoo smirked proudly.
