Suddenly, there was a loud screech, and everyone, even the orcs, stopped the fight and looked towards the faith and the Eye of Sauron.
The eye began to burn, shake, and the tower began to crumble for good. After a while, it exploded, tearing up the lands and absorbing all the orcs with it.
That could only mean one thing...
Frodo and Sam managed to destroy the ring.
Kili came up to me and helped me get up. I looked at him and smiled warmly at him and threw myself around his neck.
Dwarf didn't protest but pulled me closer and returned the hug.
That was finally the end... It's hard to believe all this.
"Frodo! " Everyone cheered.
"Sam! " They shouted happily.
After a while there was a loud bang, and when we looked towards Mount Doom we saw a volcano erupting and lava pouring out in streams.
At once, all of us lost our smiles.
I felt more tears coming to my eyes.
"It cannot be..." I whispered, and Kili put his arm around me. "No..." I began to cry, as did Merry and Pippin.
They couldn't die... Right? This is not possible.
Fortunately, I wasn't the only one who thought so. Gandalf summoned the eagles, climbed on one of them, and flew with them to look for our friends.
We hoped they were fine...
And they were. They survived. Both of them.
Frodo and Sam were alive, and the ring was destroyed! I couldn't believe that this was the end of the dangers. The end of wars, the struggle for survival. Now what mattered was the here and now.
We were just waiting in front of Frodo's room. We waited for Baggins to wake up, and when we heard him and Gandalf's laughter, who had been watching over him all this time, we knew that hobbit had already woken up.
First, Merry and Pippin entered, who immediately jumped into hobbit on the bed and began to cuddle.
Gandalf's laughter was also heard. To be honest, I haven't heard him laugh like that in a long time.
Immediately after the halflings came Gimli and Legolas, after them Aragorn, and later Kili and I.
"Kili! Malia! " Frodo called out happily, and I must admit that I couldn't help but smile.
My husband and I approached a friend and hugged him as a greeting.
"Bravo, lad. " I said. "You did a great job. " I added, pointing to Sam, who was looking into a friend's room.
"Thank you, Sam. " Frodo said as Gamgee approached him. "I wouldn't have come far if it wasn't for you. " He smiled.
"Of course. " Sam smiled. "What would you do without my cooking exploits? " He laughed, and we joined him.

Before returning home, we were invited to one of the most important ceremonies, namely the coronation of the king. Aragorn.
We stood now and watched as our beloved Wizard Gandalf crowned the new, legitimate king.
Gandalf took from me the crown that had been entrusted to me to hold during the coronation and put it on Aragorn's head.
"Now comes the days of the king. "Wizard said loudly. "May they be blessed. " Added and smiled at Aragorn, which the man obviously reciprocated.
After a while, our king stood up and slowly turned to the people.
"Long live the king! " Kili called out and applauded.
"Long live the king! " Everyone repeated.
"This day does not belong to one men but to all. " Aragorn said as the crowd fell silent. "Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in the days of peace." Added and we all started applauding again.
I knew that Aragorn would be great in the role of the king of Gondor. After a while, petals of white flowers began to fall from the sky. I didn't see where they came from, but I was betting that it was Gandalf's doing.
I saw Aragorn suffer because of his beloved. He thought Arwen had died, but is that true?
We followed Aragorn among the people. Everyone bowed to new king. Finally, there was no fear or anything like that on people's faces, quite the opposite. You could see the joy, the relief and love.
We walked through half the square and approached the elves, headed by none other than Legolas.
Aragorn greeted his friend.
Our elf glanced at us, and Kili and I nodded to the sign that it was time. It seems that only we knew about this extraordinary surprise for Aragorn.
"Your Majesty..." I came closer to Aragorn, to which he smiled.
"We're friends." King replied. "Call me by my name. "
"Of course. " - I nodded. "We just want to tell you that someone wants to see you, our king. " I nodded to the right, showing him the person behind Legolas.
Aragorn looked at us in surprise and then came closer to his "surprise".
He didn't recognize her until she exposed her face by the flags and smiled insecurely.
That surprise was Aragorn's beloved, Arwen. She survived, but he didn't know it until now.
Man approached her and took a flag from her. Woman bowed slightly. Brunet raised her chin so that she could look at she. They both had tears in their eyes.
I knew that feeling.
Aragorn after a while joined his lips to her in a warm and tender kiss.
Right after that, we all started applauding them.
"I know this feeling. " Kili whispered to me, to which I laughed and hugged him.
Brunet wrapped his arm around me and kissed me on the forehead.
"It seems that the king has found his queen. " I smiled.
"Yes. " Kili replied. "Just like I found mine. " He added, he kissed me on the forehead again, and I cuddled up to him even more.
When Aragorn and Arwen moved on ahead, we followed them and stopped only at our dear four halflings: Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry.
Boys bowed like everyone else before the king.
"My friends..." Aragorn said, catching their attention. "You bow to no one. " He added, and then bowed before the four hobbits himself, and all the people, including us, did the same.
They deserved it.

The last day of our stay in Gondor. Today we were able to set off on a journey back home to Erebor.
We said goodbye to everyone, which wasn't easy.
As I said before, I don't like goodbyes, because I always cry and this time it was the same. Our chasing with friends didn't take place without tears. Fortunately, everything ended well.
Aragorn regained his love and became the rightful king. Gandalf like Gandalf, did his job, our four hobbits also set off on the way back so we spent most of this way back together
Legolas and Gimli of course went with us. This road passed us very quickly and before we knew we found ourselves in front of the walls of Erebor.
Our home, which we haven't seen in a thirteen months.
