We had been tracking our hobbits for three days and nights, with no food and no stop. Thanks to Aragorn, who can read the tracks very well, we knew exactly where they were going and how far away they were from us.
"They pace has quickened... " Man said, and he rose from the ground. "They must have caught our scent. Hurry! " Shouted to us.
"Faster, Gimli! " I called to him, he was left behind.
We ran all the way to catch up with them faster. It required a lot of fitness from us. At times I really didn't have the strength anymore, but I knew we had to find friends. We couldn't let them down.
We ran through glades, between the rock wastelands, and the road seemed to have no end.
Finally, we reached a certain place, and on the ground we found a leaf from Lórien. It belonged to our hobbits, we were sure of that. So there's hope that they're still alive. Aragorn said that they were less than a day away from us.
"I'm wasted on cross-country! " Gimli shouted after us. "We dwarves are natural sprinters... Very dangerous over short distances." Added.
We laughed at his words. He was older than me or Kili, but he was doing great and he was on a par with us.
We climbed one of the rocks to look around a bit, and by the way we could rest a bit.
"Rohan. " Aragorn said. "Home of the Horse-Lords... There's something strange at work here. Some evil gives speed to these creatures. Sets its will against us." Said.
Legolas went a little further to see how far away the orcs were from us.
"Legolas! What do your elf-eyes see?! "Aragorn asked.
"The Uruks turn northeast! " He replied. "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!"
Saruman's doing.

We set off again on our way. The run was really tiring, in addition, orcs accelerated so we had to do the same.
As Gimli said, "Keep breathing. That's the key." If we wanted to catch up with them, we couldn't afford to stop. I understood that, but my legs didn't.
"A red sun rises." Legolas said. That's how we went another day and night. With difficulty. "Blood has been spilled this night. " Added.
We were now following Aragorn in the footsteps, in the clearing, when suddenly we heard the horses roaring. We immediately ran behind the rocks and hid behind them.
After a few moments, a small, human army appeared to us, traveling on horseback. Aragorn came out of hiding and walked towards them so we did the same thing uncertainly.
"Riders of Rohan! " He called. "What news form the Mark?! " At his words the riders turned around and circled us.
I had a bit of a bad feeling because they aimed their spears at us.
"What business does an elf, a man, and dwarves have in the Riddermark? " Man asked who, as it turned out later, was their leader. "Speak quickly! "
"Give me your name, horse-master, and shall I give you mine. " Gimli said in a confident voice.
The leader got off his horse and walked over to him.
"I'd out off your head, dwarf... If it stood but a little higher from the ground. " He said to which Kili and Legolas and I pulled out our bows and started aiming at him.
"You would die before your stroke fell. " Legolas growled.
If it hadn't been for Aragorn, who stopped this, that man would probably have been lying dead now.
