Epilogue: Addicted

"Let's drink tonight, Bud." My friend Gideon called me. I was still in the office right now. It's past 6pm now but here I am, still working.

Inayos ko ang mga gamit ko para umalis na. Wala ng tao sa labas ng opisina ko. Ako nalang ang natitira sa palapag namin. Since our floor was on the top floor of the Gallego Elite Building, I took the elevator.

Pagdating ko sa El Refugio ay agad akong dumeretso sa isa sa mga restaurant dito. This place is our favorite restaurant among all the restaurant inside El Refugio.

Usually, I wouldn't look at any of the waiters here since they are all trained and taught to serve well.

"G-good evening sir, may I take your order?"
He stutter again.

Kaninang umaga ay ganito rin siya. I don't know if he's also like that to the other customers.

Since he was new here, I let him do the service for me. Tinignan ko ang kaniyang mukha. He looks cute. Kahit na kabado ay sinusulat niya ang order ko, kitang-kita ko pa ang panginginig ng kaniyang kamay.

"Hey." Si Gideon na ngayon palang dumating.

Hindi ko na siya sinagot pa at hinayaan na lamang na na umupo siya sa aking harapan.

The guy came back with my food and drinks. Since I haven't had my dinner yet, I ordered some for me to eat.

Kinuha ng waiter ang order ni Gideon. Habang ginagawa niya iyon tinitignan ko siya. Naiilang pa siya habang nakikipag-usap. He looks uncomfortable.

"What's gotten into you? Bakit ka nag order ng dinner?!" Tumatawang puna ni Gideon sa akin.

To be honest, I don't like eating dinner. I am not used to it. But I somehow ordered food out of nowhere.

"Just shut up." Saad ko at binalingan ang pagkain. Nagsimula na nga akong kumain.

"That's Beau Tyrone Narvaez, our new employee." Bigla niyang sinabi.

Agad naman akong napatingin sa kaniya. Nang makita niya ang aking mukha, bigla siyang tumawa.

"Do you like that one?" Saad niya pa at sinundan pa ng tuwa.

"Well, he looks cute." Sagot ko.

"What? Is this really you? Nagbago ba ang type mo at gusto mo na ng mga cute?" Tumawa pa ulit siya.

Binalingan ko na ngayon ang waiter namin kanina na ngayon ay nililinis ang isa sa table, di kalayuan sa amin.

He was a tall and white-skinned. Marami na akong nakitang mapuputing tao but his was glowing like water under the moon. His hair was long too, hindi ko lang makita dahil naka bun iyon ngayon.

I admit that he was pretty.

And based on my impression, he was an Omega.

"He's from the province. He just came here to Manila to study. He's just here to do some part time job." Saad ni Gideon.

Gideon left after 30 minutes since we both have works tomorrow he left first. Nanatili naman ako dito ng ilang minuto pa. Sometimes I would look at Beau.

I called my secretary after a while. "Enroll me to the university." Agad kong sabi at pinatay ang tawag.

After a month, I was already sitting in one of the chairs near that waiter inside his classroom.

As expected, they all seem interested towards Beau. But since I was also here, nahahati ang kanilang atensyon.

I already noticed some of the guys that might be hitting on Beau. I marked them all. Especially this one guy.
