In the morning, everyone parted ways for now. We said our goodbyes and off they were. Now it was just Aloy, Beta, and myself. Seeing how lonely things were, I think it made Aloy even more worried about leaving Beta by herself. Seeing this, I approached her when we walked back into the base.

"I don't think the base is needed anymore," Aloy said and looked at the empty rooms now. "But it'll be nice for the others to come back here when they need to."

"I was thinking," I said.

"Yeah?"

"What if we take Beta with us?"

"Y-You would do that? I thought you wanted a life with just the two of us?"

"I know how imporant Beta is to you. And I love Beta as well. It'll be ashame for her to be here alone and isolated once more."

Aloy nodded her head, "I-I didn't even realize that we would be leaving her alone until the others left."

"So I think it's time that we head out with Beta. No need for her to prove her worth. It'll be the three of us."

"Soon to be four," Aloy smiled.

"That's right. Do you want to do that now?"

"Sure," she said.

We walked into the room where GAIA was. She was happy to see the two of us walk in together.

"Good morning, Aloy. Good morning, Y/N."

"Morning, GAIA," we said.

"What would you two like to do?"

"GAIA, is it possible for ELEUTHIA to mix two people's DNA to make a baby?" I asked.

"It is possible. Why? Would you like to create your own child?"

"Yes, we would," we said.

"Just know that it will come out as female since there is no way to make it a boy."

"That's fine," Aloy said. "I wouldn't mind having a baby girl."

"Alright. I will need your DNA, Aloy."

Aloy walked over to where an empty container was. She opened it up and grabbed a syringe. Sticking it in her arm and pulling the needle back, it filled up with her blood. She filled the container up with the necesary amount. She grabbed the container that had mine and she inserted it into the necessary machine.

"ELEUTHIA will produce the baby in the same amount of time a woman going through pregnancy."

"Thank you, GAIA," we said.

"I will alert you when ELEUTHIA is finished."

"Thanks," we said and walked out, heading into the main part of the base where Beta was.

"Beta, we would like to speak with you," Aloy said.

"What's the matter, Aloy?"

"Our original plan was to head out more West to a beach along the coast," she pulled up a map and there was a marker where the location was. "It was just going to be Y/N and I. But seeing how you'll be here all alone, we decided to bring you along. It'll be better than you being here alone and isolated again."

Tears filled Beta's eyes as she reached over and hugged Aloy. Aloy hugged her back, patting her back.

"That's the first time someone thought of me in such a way."

"I know we both grew up alone and isolated. So it's time for us to break out of that."

She pulled away and nodded her head, "Thank you, Aloy. I-I'd love to come out there with you two."

"Good. Let's change the plans a bit," Aloy said and pulled up the image of the house we were going to build.

With all three of our inputs, we changed the design and made it a little bigger for the four of us to live there. We didn't tell Beta about that part yet. We wanted to get the new house design finished.

"With that being finished, we're going to head out there and start working on getting it together," Aloy said. "I know Y/N, Erend, and Kotallo went out that way to gather the necessary material. But we're going to need more now. Sorry about that, Y/N."

"No need to be sorry," I smiled. "At least we can all work together on it."

"That is true. Now, there is something else we need to mention."

"That being?" Beta asked.

"Aloy and I decided that we're ready to start a family," I said.

Beta smiled, "I figured you'd want to have a bigger house for not just to have me there, but to have another family member. I'm happy for you two."

"Thank you, Beta," I said.

Aloy and Beta began talking and I headed out of the base to give my mom a call. I tapped my Focus, calling her.

"Hey, mom?"

"Y/N? Oh it's so good to hear your voice again. How are you?"

During the six months that Aloy was training Beta, I took numerous trips out to the tribe. Others were surprised to see me there since they heard the news of my death. But after I told them what had happened, they were more surprised to see that I had come up with such an elaborate plan. My mother had a hard time wrapping her head around that her daughter was now a clone. And that her daughter she had birthed was dead in space. But after a while of her getting used to it, she had finally accepted that her daughter was alive no matter how the situation was put. She was just happy to have me back after all that time.

"I'm good," I said. "Aloy and I are going to be moving out of the base and making a home."

"It's about damn time. That base was cold and creepy sometimes."

"We can't help it that we made the base part of an Old World repair bay."

"That's true," she said. "How are things going with Beta and Aloy?"

"Good. Aloy trained Beta to hunt. Which I think she's still going to do after the move. She has gotten much better than the first time they had practiced."

"That's good. Practice makes perfect."

"Yeah. And there's one more piece of information I wanted to share with you."

"What's the matter, Y/N?"

"Do you remember talking to me about family?"

"Yes. Why bring that up now, Y/N?"

"Well, Aloy and I finally decided what we're going to do. We're ready to have a family."

"You are?!"

"Yeah," I said, a few tears sliding down my face. "We're ready."

"That's wonderful news! I am going to be a grandmother."

I chuckled, "You are."

"How are you going to do it?"

"The same way Aloy and I were created: through ELEUTHIA."

"A machine is going to make your child?"

"Yes. We used both of our DNA."

"I see. I can't wait to see him/her."

"It's going to be a girl no matter what. Since there's really nothing we have could make it a male."

"That's true. Well, I can't wait to meet her."

"We'll stop by when we can with her."

"I'd appreciate it."

"Well, I'll let you go. I just wanted to let you know what was going on."

"Thank you, Y/N. I hope to see you soon. I love you."

"See you soon. I love you, too, mom."
