"Will you promise to be nice?" Valerie asked Ryan as Isaiah was bringing over Raven to meet them since the last time Valerie and Ryan saw Raven was when her and Isaiah dated in high school
"I don't have to be nice, this is my house, I pay the bills here."
"Look, I don't like this no more than you do but the only way this thing will work is if you're nice to this girl. She's clearly a headache to Isaiah, we don't need her being a future headache for us."
He scoffed, "She won't be no headache for me because I can make anybody disappear if I'm pushed to my limit."
"She's possibly carrying our future grandchild. I'm telling you right now that nothing will happen to her until we know for sure."
"And what if it's not his?"
"Then Isaiah is a grown man and he can figure that out himself." She said as Austin walked into the kitchen
"Auntie, Isaiah and Raven are here." He said as Ryan poured himself another glass of brandy
"These damn kids are gonna send me to an early grave. We should just pack up our shit and just move away without telling them anything." Ryan said as he and Valerie walked into the living room where Isaiah and Raven were sitting on the couch

"Mom, dad, you all remember my girlfriend Raven." He introduced as she stood up to shake their hands and the both of them couldn't help but notice how far her stomach was poking out
"It's nice to see you two again. Obviously I'm different from the last time I was around." She smiled
"Yeah no kidding." Ryan said as she sat back down
"So how long have you two been dating?" Valerie asked
"It's going on about two months consistently now, we've been on again off again for five months." Isaiah said
"And how far along are you?"
"Four months." Raven answered as both Ryan and Valerie blankly stared at Isaiah
"Four months Isaiah, you've only been with this girl for two and she's four months pregnant. Are you seeing what we're seeing." Valerie said
"I know but I can assure you that the baby's mine."
"How so?" Ryan asked with his arms folded
"While we were not together I'd still go over to her place and have some fun with her and it would last for about a week or so until we get mad at each other again."
"Isaiah is the only one I've been with, even when we were broken up." Raven interjected as Ryan and Valerie couldn't take it anymore
"I don't believe this, how in the world can my own son be this fucking stupid! Do you not have any self respect? I worked my ass off to build a successful empire so that you kids can have something to cherish and have to pass onto the next generation and yet here you are fucking up your inheritance by possibly getting this whore pregnant which could possibly ruin your life!"
