Jeremiah held the steel gun with his sweaty palms as Ryan stared back at him with his intense brown eyes

Ryan stepped closer to Jeremiah as he was still contemplating his decision. "What's your move, son. I don't have all day."
"Ok. I.. I.. uhm, I don't have one." He said quickly while embarrassingly looking down as Ryan huffed and rolled his eyes, and snatched the gun from his hands
"I'm going to need for you to stop acting like a fucking pussy for one minute and grow a pair while you still can."
"Dad!? Don't say that." He whined
"Well, what else do you want me to say?! You're acting like a real bitch right now. So I need for you to get out of your damn feelings and be a man."
"It's just a little hard for me right now, and with you being here it makes me a little nervous." He confessed
"Maybe this whole thing isn't cut out for you. Maybe it's not for you to follow in my footsteps." Ryan said as he leaned up against the guardrail of the balcony
"No, but it is." He insisted. "I promise, I'm cut out for it."
"How can I be so sure of that? You're getting nervous and you haven't done anything yet. Listen, I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do. I'm not going to force you to take this. I want you to be sure for yourself that this is what you want."
"I promise, dad. This is what I want." He said sincerely
"Alright, have it your way," Ryan said with a sigh as he looked out into the distance of the mountains ahead as the door came open
