Chapter 37: The Results

"Are you ready for the results?" Lilly asked her parents as they both were on edge

"Yeah, go ahead and tell us." Ryan said

"Ok. After three separate tests with the same DNA, Isaiah is indeed the father of Raven's child." She said as Isaiah smiled and hugged Raven

"See baby, I told you I wouldn't lie to you."

"I know, but at least we know for sure." He said as he kissed her and Ryan was a bit disappointed

"Damn, I was kinda hoping she was lying."

"It's our grandchild and we will love it regardless." Valerie assured him as he sighed

"I guess."

"Well honey you seem to be in a better mood these days. Did you get another promotion at work?" Valerie asked Lilly as Lilly smiled

"No, I went out with this guy and he took me to the fair. I can't tell you how long I've been there, probably since my second or third date with Aiden almost eleven years ago. It was nice to get out and have some real fun." She beamed as Val smiled

"I'm glad for you honey. It seems like you really enjoyed yourself."

"I did, it was different from the same old dinner dates, and expensive gifts. I totally understand now why you felt so alone for many years. Daddy used money to fill a void in your heart when really all you wanted was love and attention.
Sure, the gifts are nice and I do like to be spoiled but I have a heart too, I want someone that truly cares about what I want."

"It sounds like you really like him." She said as Lilly blushed

"He is kinda cute and he's the total opposite of me. I'm a very relaxed person and I like to joke around meanwhile he's very uptight, and is always serious, but he softens up a bit when he thinks I'm sad. Like for instance we went on this one ride and the entire time I had my hands in the air while he sat there stone face. I put my arms down for not even two seconds and he turns to me and says, My lovely what is the matter? Are you not happy anymore? All the while holding my hand and kept kissing it."

"Aww how sweet of him."

"He got everything right, even down to my favorite wine. That's what I call sexy, a fun night out and end it with wine."

"Now what happens with Aiden? Have you officially broken up with him yet?"

"No, but I know I should if I want to continue to pursue Francisco."

"So Francisco is the lucky guy's name."

"Yes, hopefully one day I can bring him over to meet you guys."

"What does he do?"

"He's actually Diana's head coach's son. He saw me one day when I went to see Di and in his own words, he was amazed at my beauty." Lilly smiled

"Well right up your alley. Thoughtful, loving and loaded with money."

"Those are my favorites, and later he says he has a surprise for me." She beamed

"Any ideas on what it could be?"

"I'm not sure but whatever it is I'm super excited."

"I hope everything works out for you honey because you deserve some happiness in your life."

"Hello lovely, I'm so glad you came. I have a surprise for you, but I want to put this on you first." He said with a blindfold in his hand

"Alright." She said putting it on as he took her by the hand and walked for a few seconds
